Mentor Appreciation Day is an opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have invested their time and wisdom in our development. It is celebrated annually on January 21st to express your gratitude and appreciation. It's quite obvious that, from time to time, we all need someone to guide us through a difficult situation. When we feel down, we want someone to make us feel better about ourselves and tell us that all is not lost and that there is still hope in the world. A person who comes into our lives and makes a difference—that is our mentor.

El Día de Agradecer a tu Mentor es una oportunidad para expresar nuestra gratitud a quienes han invertido su tiempo y sabiduría en nuestro desarrollo. Se celebra anualmente el 21 de enero para expresar tu gratitud y aprecio.
Es bastante obvio que, de vez en cuando, todos necesitamos a alguien que nos guíe para salir de una situación difícil.
Cuando nos sentimos mal, queremos a alguien que nos haga sentir mejor con nosotros mismos y nos diga que no todo está perdido y que aún hay esperanza en el mundo. Una persona que llega y marca la diferencia en nuestras vidas ese es nuestro mentor.

A mentor doesn't come to help you seeking a reward or a favor. A mentor arises from pure interest in you. Empathy is the foundation of human emotions, but you can always find hundreds of sympathizers.
These sympathizers only pity you or feel sorry for you in your moments of despair or sadness, but among every hundred or perhaps a thousand sympathizers, you will likely find one who has a deeper emotion for you.

Un mentor no viene a ayudarte buscando una recompensa o un favor. Un mentor surge por puro interés en ti. La empatía es la base de las emociones humanas, pero siempre puedes encontrar cientos de simpatizantes. Estos simpatizantes solo te compadecen o sienten pena por ti en tus momentos de desesperación o tristeza pero, entre cada cien o quizás mil simpatizantes, probablemente encontrarás uno que tenga una emoción más profunda por ti.

When the world mocked or ignored you, your mentor made you feel better about yourself by igniting the flame of hope within you. They made you aware of your abilities, which may not have been visible to you, and with this awareness, you found the courage to overcome challenges.

• Everyone has had a mentor in their life, and if you are fortunate enough to still have one, today is the perfect day to thank them in their presence.
• A person learns from their experiences those who use this experience to transform the lives of others become mentors.

Cuando el mundo se burlaba de ti o te ignoraba, tu mentor te hacía sentir mejor contigo mismo al encender la llama de la esperanza en ti. Te hacía consciente de tus capacidades, que quizás no eran visibles para ti, y con esta consciencia, encontrabas el coraje para superarte.

Well hey there, did ya miss us? We missed you! So much, in fact, that we have rescheduled our 'Family Time' to Wednesdays (and every HUMP Day after) and we hope to see you there! Join our lovely band of outcasts, normies, goofballs, pimps, degenerates, professionals and all things within and without and betwixt and between starting 11 am CST/ 12 pm EST. We always try to have a little fun and and if you're paying attention, a few smiles might just be shared. We like to smile. We like to laugh. We realize that life isn't all about the important things like #politics, #religion and #sex, no, it's about the time spent, the experiences had and memories made. Memories get passed on, experiences are shared and time - time is the currency we spend to acquire them.

It just may be worth your time to visit the Castle and come check us out. Unlike the 'Addams Family' shows, all of this is live, unrehearsed and not recorded before any audience. Funny things happen. Sad things happen. Smiles and tears get shared. Worries and hopes are passed around. Sometimes, we even eat #pizza, cake and ice cream. Sometimes, we watch movies. Sometimes, giant insects attack the microphones and we have to get out our silly swatters and smack 'em up so we have something to snack on because the popcorn got eaten already by little slugs that left slimy trails everywhere and made the sidewalks slippery so that the pancakes didn't get enough traction on our canoes to steer the spaceships. Exactly.

Puede que valga la pena dedicar tiempo a visitar el castillo y venir a vernos. A diferencia de los shows de 'La Familia Addams', todo esto es en vivo, sin ensayar y no grabado ante ninguna audiencia.
