Today is National Family Day, which is where love for others is most often learned - the family. They are your first interactions with real people as you emerge into the world. Most likely, one of your first words was either 'Mommy' or 'Daddy'. Maybe it wasn't? Maybe it was nana or papa or maybe you were an orphan and didn't have that or lost your parents at an early age?
Regardless what your youth was like, you likely were involved with family on some level. As you have gotten older, some of those blood ties may have weakened, others may have gotten stronger and you may have even chosen people outside your gene pool and consider them a brother or sister. Here in @thealliance, we love our chosen family and bring that nurturing to each other in ways that a Blockchain can't begin to compare to. What would you rather have, a million dollars or someone there when you were holed up in the hospital and diagnosed with some bullshit. Money can pay the medical bills, but we also know what it won't buy.
Family Time!
Well hey there, did ya miss us? We missed you! So much, in fact, that we have rescheduled our 'Family Time' to Wednesdays (and every HUMP Day after) and we hope to see you there! Join our lovely band of outcasts, normies, goofballs, pimps, degenerates, professionals and all things within and without and betwixt and between starting 11 am CST/ 12 pm EST. We always try to have a little fun and and if you're paying attention, a few smiles might just be shared. We like to smile. We like to laugh. We realize that life isn't all about the important things like #politics, #religion and #sex, no, it's about the time spent, the experiences had and memories made. Memories get passed on, experiences are shared and time - time is the currency we spend to acquire them.
It just may be worth your time to visit the Castle and come check us out. Unlike the 'Addams Family' shows, all of this is live, unrehearsed and not recorded before any audience. Funny things happen. Sad things happen. Smiles and tears get shared. Worries and hopes are passed around. Sometimes, we even eat #pizza, cake and ice cream. Sometimes, we watch movies. Sometimes, giant insects attack the microphones and we have to get out our silly swatters and smack 'em up so we have something to snack on because the popcorn got eaten already by little slugs that left slimy trails everywhere and made the sidewalks slippery so that the pancakes didn't get enough traction on our canoes to steer the spaceships. Exactly.

A Million $$$ won't add another hour in my life, time with those closest to me at this point is more important. My Kids are already set from my estate, I'm in the process of reworking my Will and already chose my final yet quite pretty resting place and have my forever roommate with me. I was kidding about the Viking funeral. ☠️
