Hive Growth Log - Saturday Savers Week 18

Hey everyone! Another week has passed by, which means it's time for another HIVE goals and growth update for the Saturday Savers Club! This week also marked my 3rd Birthday here on the Hive Blockchain, and what’s a better way to celebrate than growth!?

May HPUD

Yesterday was the May HIVE Power-Up Day, and I am very pleased to report that I participated for the first time since November of 2023.

I made a short post about my HPUD participation this month, but to give you a quick review, I was able to Power-Up a total of 22.454 HP, which brought me up to 635.112 HP in total before claiming this week's rewards!

Weekly Rewards Report

I think I had another decent week posting and commenting, with my totals for the week being at 5 posts (not including this one) and 16 comments/replies according to HiveStats. I would like to continue to be more engaged with others on our blockchain and be more involved with the communities, so I would like to see these numbers increase with time but we all gotta start somewhere!

In total I received 3.225 HP and 0.665 HBD in rewards from posts and comments this week, which is just fine by me. Slow, steady, and continuous growth is the overall goal, so I'd say that everything is moving along at a steady pace!

All in all, I was able to increase my HP by 25.679 this week between rewards and HPUD, which gives me a total of 638.400 HivePower!

Dolphin Tracker

So last week I reported that I didn't receive any additional vests from my rewards, when actually that wasn't the case! Upon further inspection, I realized that I went from 1,021,232 vests up to 1,026,900, for a total increase of 5,668 vests! So that left me with 8,973,100 more vests to go before I reach Dolphin!

Now that I have that cleared up, this month's HPUD increased my vests by 37,688, bringing me up to 1,064,588! I'm not exactly sure how long it will take me to reach my goal of becoming a Hive Dolphin, but I will reach it eventually!

I also realized that you can see your pending reward vests on HiveBlocks! I thought that was pretty neat, and it should help me keep better track and avoid misprinting any information in the future! Woot-Woot!

So taking a look at this week's vests rewards, I will be adding about 5,408 more, putting me at a total of 1,069,996 vests. Progress is being made, no matter how small, and that's all that matters!

Token Goals

Originally, I didn't have any goals in mind when it came to the tokens I've earned throughout my time on Hive, but after some careful consideration, I have decided to make a few goals for myself for the year.

I would like to double the amount of EDSMM I currently own in order to mine more EDSI, which in turn, provide passive HIVE income that I can use to Power-Up each month for HPUD. I would also like to start staking more LEO when I can, and am starting with a relatively small goal of 100 staked LEO to get me on my way.

I will still be saving and staking other tokens that I may focus more heavily on in the future, but these are the ones I would like to prioritize for the time being to help increase my passive income if at all possible! But at this point, I'll have to convert more HBD to HIVE to be able to purchase more tokens.

Review

Overall, I think I had a pretty decent week, but this is the first time I'll actually be tracking my weekly progression, so I don't really have any data to compare it to at the moment. But with that being said, I think that this set a pretty solid baseline for me to strive to beat each week!
