Why Commitment and Humility Matter in a Choir.

In this life things are no means to be done by force and this is what I keep telling everyone around me because when you force someone to do something you get the worst results from whatever it is you want them to do This is why there is an adage which says you can force and horse to the river, but you can never force it to drink water until it is tasty and needs it. Most people feel singing is just by me singing alone, but they are always forgetting that there are a lot of things attached to music.

Generally speaking, if you are not musically oriented, and you are in the gathering of people who knows music better You might find things they are doing around you a bit off because you are not musically oriented, and you are not bothered with whatever they are doing. This is the case of some people who tend to join the choir when they feel they can just be there as a figurehead and sometimes not just being a figurehead but also distracting the piece of those that are ready to do it because they seem not to be interested.

Today I've been saying an illustration about a lady who happens to be in the same choir with me. This time this is more like a student choir but not a mass choir. I am not the music director neither am I the choir master, but there are some times when you become valuable in a place to some extent you will be more regarded and given some grace to do something's. But there is this lady in the choir who feels she knows everything even more than those that she was supposed to be under and the truth about her is that she doesn't know how to think, but she feels she can do it.

She completes at every slightest chance she gets, especially when you are in a rehearsal that has been taking like 2 hours or 3 hours. Imagine doing areas of 2 hours or 3 hours for a while goes for competitions and invitations almost every time You should know a lot is expected from them, and you have to be consistent with the rehearsals you are doing and continually learning new things but in the case of this lady she feels it's not important.

Yesterday we had acquired concerts which we invited series of music ministers, and it was even shared on a live stream for people to watch so they are not important part of what you did was that why the requirement administration was going on it got to a point where she could not project the song she was supposed to sing and that was because she was not paying attention when they were taught, and she started laughing even while the live session was going on.

Normally for everyone, it's bound and normal for you to make mistakes but when the mistake has been done it is not your right to ensure that You do the right thing and not trying to create scene in front of everyone, and it became so glaring to everyone. I felt so annoyed and pissed, but I couldn't do anything because we are having a ministration. The funny part was that she was actually singing rubbish, and she couldn't even sing any part of the song she was supposed to sing and she chased away the younger ladies that were supposed to take the part. It was very annoying but what can we do? I had to just relax and let it slide but just to be careful so that it won't happen another time.

At is always more amazing when your choristers are ready to learn. I have been a choir master for sometime, and I have learnt to completely ignore choristers that are not ready to learn; regardless of how talented they are.
