When Exploration Feels Uncomfortable but Necessary.

Experiencing life on a different level always feels different and what makes it feel different is because there are different approaches to things and approach you make to anything gives a different result aside from those that produce the same results. Why am I saying this today? I feel like sometimes in our lives we really need to explore. At first, when you start the exploration, you might feel like you are not getting the vibe or energy you really need, which is normal because you are not used to everywhere, and you get different feelings from different places.

I like to explore and travel, especially to places where I feel like I can meet new people and learn new things. I traveled to a new place in the city of Ibadan here in Nigeria, and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) brought me out today to this place to see life in another dimension. At first, when I went to this place, I was supposed to resume on the first day, but from the news I have been getting from people, I decided to change my date of resumption to the next day, thinking that I don't want to experience what others have been complaining about.

So the next day I decided to travel to camp and start to explore life in another dimension. When we went to the cup entrance, everyone was checked, and we marked the attendance as we arrived.
No one was allowed to take pictures at all because they want everything to be safe. When I finished my registration later that night, I went to the hostel, but it was filled, so I had to go out to get a space where I could sleep for the night. This was already creating a bad mindset in me because the hostel that was meant for the guys is not spacious, and it's just two compared to the female hostels that are much larger.

After staying for the 3rd day, I decided to take the exit form to leave the camp because I was getting tired of everything happening here, but it's one thing to make decisions for yourself, and it's another thing for you to get some decisions from your parents because no parent won't be happy seeing that they have children who are really doing well for themselves and they made their own dream come true as a parent.

After we spoke at length, I decided to stay because I know they were not happy when I said I would be leaving the camp. But within me, I wondered what was really special about them not wanting me to leave. Well, at this point I had no choice but to try to manage the life here on campus till we all evacuate the camp on the due date. Also, I had my convocation yesterday, but I could not attend because I was at camp, but in all, I still remain grateful to God for what he has done for me and where I have gotten to today. It is indeed a long journey, and I am really happy for a day like this.
