Truth is Power..
It is one thing to do something and be accountable for it, and it's another thing to do something and deny the fact that you did it. As far as I have known and am knowledgeable about, I have come to discover that being truthful really can go a very long way in pure life and in anything we do as humans, doing this not to please people but doing it in truth so that people around you will be so confident in you in case any issues happen. There won't be any form of hidden agenda that people around you will not know about when you are truthful.
It happens that these days, when people get to notice you and a female child being close, they term it dating, and they go about speaking a lot of gibberish behind your back, and the only thing that could justify your actions is just when you are being truthful and loyal to everyone. Trust me, it is certain for people to talk and not just talk alone but go beyond you to talk about your life because I am very sure we cannot satisfy everyone at the same time.
Also, it is not possible for everyone to like you. Know this, and be free. These are some things we need to start having.
Knowledge about because when we have these things in our mind, and we hear this kind of matter, we won't be disturbed because we already know it will happen. A friend called me yesterday and told me about how people told her I was having an affair with my school daughter. Immediately after she said this, I burst into laughter, and she was wondering why I was laughing.
I told her if everyone would doubt me, I don't think she should because we have come a long way, and she knows what I am capable of doing to some extent. She agreed and said that was why she had to come to me directly to ask. I told her not to worry, and I was very sure of who told her the story, and this was because their person wanted to get intimate with my school daughter, and after finding out she was in my school, he knew it was a no-go area for him, so he decided to blackmail me.
This is something anyone can do at any time, but depending on the level of trust you show, people will speak. Well, to some people, they might see it as overdoing, but trust me, there are some people in your life you just have to stand up for, regardless of their gender or the relationship you guys have. A guy cannot marry every lady they are friends with, nor can a lady marry every guy that asks them out of they are Friday with.
This is why you have to build the level of trust you want people to have in you. When she told me this matter, she said some people there when they were having the discussion were already saying it's a liar, but she was still doing it because she knows people change at any point in time, but she was not convinced. I had to clear the air, and I know she will go back to the person to correct the person for spreading bad news and such again. In this one life we are in, we must always ensure we trust people with rest and make people earn our trust because it pays.
