The Ripple Effect of Impactful Leadership: Leaving a Lasting Legacy.

In this life, it is very important and very crucial that at every point in life we are always supposed to do things in a way that when you are not there again or when you're not available to do that thing again, you will always be missed, and not just doing everything all by yourself just because you want to get the praise and the kudos. Always remember that there is always a replacement, even if not totally, in any setting we find ourselves in. When you are in a place, ensure you give every bit of your abilities because it will speak of you when you are gone.

It happened that I was in a gathering where I was not really the older person amongst all, but I happened to take the lead role. Mind you, it is not easy to be a leader, and taking the mantle of leadership when you know there are people who can do it better than you is very alarming. I noticed there were a lot of things that were supposed to be put in place, but people were not really seeing from that angle, so I thought about coming in.

I never knew I was helping some people indirectly, and I shouted at them. Even those I call my friends and those I don't really play with will always stay calm when they see the way I address those I call my friends. Why do I do all these? There is a saying that an elder cannot be in a market and allow a toddler's head to bend. This simply means that wherever there is an elderly person, the elderly person is supposed to ensure that things go the right way, avoiding collapse in every aspect.

Not each of the elders knows how to do this. So back to where I was coming from, I was always guiding them on what to do, and whenever I see that they are doing something that they are not supposed to do, I will tell them no, this is not what it is supposed to be, and then they will amend their ways. Yesterday, we had an event that made all of us come together, and in that event, someone stood up amongst many and said, They are going to miss me, and I was wondering how.

He said most of the things I have been doing that I do not take seriously have been guiding him, and then it makes him feel that when he is doing something, and he is not doing it right, I am always with him and correcting him even when I am not there. Well, I can't argue that, and I was happy that at least I was an icon to someone, and I am very sure there are still more people like that, even those that can't say it to my face.

Our relevance to anywhere and anything we do matters so much. No trees can make a forest unless they are built together, and if they have more descendants, then they will be more and then become a forest. Think well today and ensure you sow a good seed into the lives of everyone you meet or find around you. Nothing you do will go unnoticed. Even if it is not noticed by everyone, trust me, someone is out there watching you closely.
