The Importance of Mentorship in Personal and Professional Growth.

The truth about life is that when you have a master in your life, you will be able to go far in time. This is what I have come to realize. The master I am talking about can be your guidance, with your parents, someone that puts you through when you need help, or you need to scale through some rough roads. Going through some difficult times and doing it alone can be very hard sometimes because you do not have someone who has the experience that will put you through the right part of it.

There is always a saying that when an elderly person sits on a chair and looks ahead, what he sees, a child that is on a story building can never see that. It is very true about this saying because sometimes when you are doing something and then someone who has experience with it sees it, and they tell you to do this and that, and you refuse, they will just smile and tell you to continue. This is not to say that most of what they say or imagine is correct sometimes, but the fact that they have knowledge of what you are about to do, and they know you are doing it the wrong way, and you were corrected, and you didn't yield will make them look.

That is why we have parents, bosses, leaders, and guidance everywhere to put us on the right track with what we are doing. Imagine trying to learn something, and you were trying to learn it yourself without having those who really understood it alongside you. When you get to some point, you might get stuck or tired because you don't have anyone to put you through the hard times. When you have someone to guide you, you will be able to navigate through the hard times, and you and this person will move through these hurdles together.

Aside from having a guardian, it is very compulsory that you listen and adhere to every correction's given by someone who is leading you. You see some people today trying to be overly smart, and they go beyond the person teaching them something. Well, it's good to explore and not just stick to what you were taught, but not just intrude while you are supposed to learn. The person trying to teach you will assume you know it all and will keep what you are supposed to know.

Learning is a gradual process that must be taken in steps. There are some people who do not teach you whatever you want to learn from them on time, while others do that fast. It depends on whom you are with. In a Much you are willing to learn from anyone or a boss, you must be submissive to the tutoring. We must be very careful in learning because it goes a long way and learning continues always.
