The Burden of Exams: Reflections on a Student's Journey.
Can we just skip the part where we write the examination and skip to the end part where we get our certificates? I do not think that is possible, and I don't think it can ever be possible. Right from time, examination has been the main perquisite to moving forward in anything we do, either related to academic or any other thing. Without been tested we can not proceed to another level and this is what will really show that we have learned and understood what we have been thought. There is a lot about the talk of examination which always poo in my heart almost every time it gets to examination period.
Last week, before I started writing my examination, I was discussing with some of my friends in school while trying to sign our examination pass and someone mentioned that who was the originator of examination? Everyone busted into laughing because the question sounded so funny to us. But on the other way round, looking at it, we thought about it again that who was the originator of examination. And if it was not for the person, there won't be anything like examination, but we didn't get the answer to that yet.
Why was this thought coming to our mind? As regarding final lap in the university and the final race of studying in the university, we all know that it is always very tideous and stressful from the start. Alot of researches to be carried out while on the project site, and you still have to attend classes because no lecturer will want to consider you upon doing a project and missing classes. They take everything into consideration, and they want to use that to attack most students know that they have no other choice that to do whatever they want because they want to graduate.
We started our first semester examination this week, and yet some of the students are still going to their project site even while the examination is still on. If it were to be that there was no examination in the final lap of education in the university, it would have been a good one, plus a lot of courses are associated with each department and some borrowed courses also. The borrowed courses you will write, you must ensure you read and write the exams well because they are not your courses, and you must not try to fail them in any way.
My project supervisor called us before we started examination and gave every of his project students warning to ensure they sit well for the borrowed courses because when you are in your finals the lecturers taking those borrowed courses never allow students that are not their students to passer than those in the original department. So you know you have to go extra length and make sure you strive so hard to pass.
Examination is good and lovely only when you read and understand what you are to do. But trust me it comes with a lot of sacrifices which one has to do. But in all, when we get to do exams, and we get a better result, we are always happy. Only the sad part is that we have to neglect every other things during the examination period and focus more on studying until we are done.

It is usually tedious, especially that final year. Hardwork is not enough, you need to have the right friends and support system.
Sometimes I wonder who invented exams too, but then I also know that exams do help students to actually grasp some details which they would have missed without the examination.
You get it my friend. The right support and the right friends, they really go a long way.
I experienced it not long ago.
Good luck with your exams
Thanks
