Movie Review: Warfare (2025)

Normally, when it comes to anything related to Iran, Iraq, and some other Muslim countries, you can't just say you want to get into their midst and just go out like that regardless of whoever you are; they do not give a damn about who you are. Warfare is a very brutal movie, which is more than just an action military movie but also an entertaining movie at that. This movie is centered around a former Navy SEAL, Ray Mendoza, whose life tells this story to the fullest.

This story is based on a true-life war story about a platoon of Navy SEALs who embarked on a dangerous mission in Ramadi, some part of Iraq, with the chaos and a mindset to go fight war and without having to fear anything that comes their way. Normally, as a military officer, one of your major roles is to always make sure that you serve your country with patriotism and be ready to fight for your country any day and time. This movie was released on the 11th of April, 2025, and it's an hour and 35 minutes long. The movie was directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garlande.

Aside from the fact that this movie does not have any music played in it, it still feels so real, like the movie was looking at a real world war. No element of a soundtrack nor music, but still an interesting one to watch because every moment catches your attention to see what's next. The level at which the gunfire was sounding will make you feel the movie, and also the rage you feel from the soldiers will make you really interested. At some point, I was enjoying it and feeling like I was playing a video game because of how entertaining it is.

There were some amazing casts I really loved in the movies who acted to make it an interesting one. Some of the actors are D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Ray Mendoza, Will Poulter as Eric, Cosmo Jarvis as Elliot Miller, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Joseph Quinn, Charles Melton, Noah Centineo, Michael Gandolfini, Taylor John Smith as Frank, Adain Bradley, and so on. The directors of this movie really did great work with the way they matched the visuals with the war part. Every part in this movie was full of breathtaking moments with good visuals. I think I will still have to watch this movie again because it is so lovely.

In conclusion, When I mean an action-realistic movie, this is a typical example of one. Trust me, if you are too emotional, this movie is not for you because it is so touching and heartbreaking if you are not strong enough. But in all, it is a lovely movie. If you really want to enjoy your free time and have fun watching a movie, I recommend this movie.
