Movie Review: April showers.
Greg is a hardworking man and also the son of a multi-millionaire father who does not have a wife anymore, and neither does his son; Greg has neither a wife nor a fiancé yet. This becomes a burden to his father, and now he is trying to find him a wife at all costs. Linda, on the other hand, is a lady who turns 41 and yet has no man in her life due to the fact that most men she had dated turned her down or probably needed her for their craving to feel good whenever it comes.
When Linda turns 41, she never thought she could marry again. She was already done trying because normally a woman gets to her menopause by 35, and we all know that according to research, when a child grows from birth till he or she gets to adulthood, their beauty, which they carry from childhood, changes with respect to their time and age, which is also an effect on a lady who does not get married in the normal age range. After trying several relationships and then there were no results, she decided to do a one-night stand when she met Greg. What will end this situation Greg and Linda found themselves in?
This movie was directed by Richards Omos-Iboyi; its genre is a romantic and drama version of the movie. This movie is a Nigerian movie that was released in the year 2021. As a matter of fact, I really love this movie because it made me really interested to watch it till the end. What more can you get when you see a lady who is desperate to get a baby even with any man, and she feels so desperate about it?
This movie has clear cinematography, plus it has a good story line, telling a story that carries the audience along from the start till the end. I was very calm to watch because it has clear vision, and it was perfect to watch. Every actor in this movie really acted well, and at some point I forgot I was watching a movie because it feels so good to watch. Some of the actors that participated in this movie to make it a nice one are Pere Egbi, Sasha Ekama, Uzoamaka Enoch, Lilian Esoro, Emem Isaac, Anthony Monjaro, Enyinna Nwigwe, Gregory Ojefua and many others.
What I like about this movie.
- The movie is very entertaining
- The movie tells a true story, which I love.
- It goes in depth and talks about relationship issues people have in recent days.
What I don't really like about the movie.
- The storyline was really too straight and predictable.
- It doesn't really have the real depth as I thought.
Rating the movie, I would rate it 7 out of 10.
In conclusion, after all the watching and reviews, I would suggest this movie is a good watch. Regarding the level at which Nollywood movies are now, I was not really expecting too much, but it's just that the movie is interesting and so good to watch because of the lovely moments the movie has in it. It has some touch of comedy in it also, and I know this is the lovely part some of the movie lovers would like to hear. So, I hope you watch this and share your reviews on it too.

A woman getting the menopause at 35 is very very rare, that's way too young, I guess people are not getting married enough and they made a movie to put more social pressure on that issue.
