Investing for the Future: Why Responsible Spending is Key for Young People.

Life is a lesson that we have to learn from, either in a good way or a bad way. We will surely learn from it. That is why I would always say it's better to learn from those who have better experience with life than those who have no experience at all. Those who have a better experience would be able to guide you in the right direction, but those who have no experience at all tend to lead you astray because they know nothing about what they are doing. They will just keep doing what every they want to do in their own way, and they won't care about the outcome.

When ever I get to speak on this matter, I tend to share my experience so that it will motivate and encourage others too. What brought about this matter? The issues we young people growing up in this generation face, especially with the issue of funds or money, are really on the high side, and I wonder why some of us do not make use of the opportunity we get, especially when we eventually get some money in our possession.

Most guys now, especially in my vicinity, do not care about investing to make more money In return, but all they care about now is making money to buy expensive things like a car when you do not have what it takes to do the maintenance of the car you want to buy. Some go for expensive phones, and when they later get the phones, they will not become broke and be asking their friends for money.

Why do you have to go the hard way because you are trying to fit into the shoes that you know it's not possible for you to fit in?? This is the question I asked a friend one day, and he will surely give me a response, but this response does not justify all that he was saying. What do you stand to gain when you have nothing in reserve? When you're exhausted, you're spendable.

There is this guy on my street, not too far from where I stay. He deals with real estate, and he makes some cool cash from it. He also acts as a hostel agent and caretaker for buildings that need that. From the things I have listed, you wouldn't know he is a real big guy, but this doesn't make him spend lavishly; in fact, I look at him sometimes, and I just say I wish other guys could be like him.

He has a wife, which he invested in by opening a supermarket for her, and he ensures he looks after it so that it will crumble in his face. After that, he went ahead to buy more land not far at all from his supermarket and built two buildings beside it, and now he is building a water factory. I also got to know that he has another supermarket different from the one he has on my street. When I heard all of this, I looked at some guys that were friends with him and compared them all, and I saw that there was really a difference between him and his friends.

One of his friends bought a recent Mercedes car on Tuesday, and he was spending money on people to celebrate the car he bought. He was sure people would come around because they knew he had the money to spend. But what does he stand to gain from doing this? The way the economy has developed now, one has to invest everything they have into something profitable, not just something that will become a liability later. Think wisely.
