(ENG/ESP) Balancing Act: The Life of an Entrepreneur. // Equilibrio: La vida de un empresario.

ENGLISH

As you must know, being an entrepreneur is not an easy job, and it comes in handy with a lot of things that an entrepreneur has to bear, like the risk of losing funds and even losing some of the products that they sell or losing some mental abilities due to stress. Most of the entrepreneurs I have come across are afraid of losing what they have worked out for, mostly like this, and this is because they are always scared of losing what they have worked so hard to get. This is very understandable because I have been in their shoes, and I know what it really means to be an entrepreneur and also to be a businessperson.

I am always motivated to see an entrepreneur work too hard and strive to always make sure they are very productive and earning more money from the business that they are doing, but one of the things I find two-up sometimes is the way some or not all of them react to situations. Imagine an entrepreneur who sells a market or products nationwide. He or she must be able to bear some risk, and most of these are associated with money being lost sometimes and the sense that you might send a product and the product might not be delivered to the right person due to issues that might come up.

There are some issues, like the delivery agent not being trusted and not doing their work the way they are supposed to do it. I will be seeing a scenario about this friend of mine, who happens to be an entrepreneur. And she sells skin care products nationwide, and she could deliver them anywhere in the country, so long as you are ready to pay the price that comes with it. But on her own path, she pays the delivery agent from her own purse, and this is not the business of the buyer to bother about.

I sometimes wonder how she is able to cope with this because when she sells a product that is not up to a large amount and she still pays for the delivery, I do ask her how she is able to make it again because imagine a customer paying 10,000 Naira for your product, and you have to transport it today with 2,000 naira and your left with 8,000 naira so let's see the price of the product that is selling for the customer is 7,000 naira so approximately she's engaging again.

But I just wonder how she is able to cope with this with selling on a small scale, and this is why I commend her a lot because sometimes when she sends a product, the product might not get to the customer, and she would have to refund the customer or probably resend it again, so she will have to pay twice when the first is not delivered. This is also part of the risk she carries as an entrepreneur.

Sometimes, when she is unable to get the delivery done, She transfers the aggression to her apprentice, but then her apprentice is not really bothered because they know it is part of business. We lose, and we also win. It's always on the both sides, so whichever way it comes, we just have to embrace it and carry on our business lives. But in the end, she is still able to make a profit, which is still the best thing.

ESPANOL

Being an entrepreneur is not easy just like you have said and it involves lots of risk especially when you have to deal with dispatching goods to different locations across the country.

One thing I am sure of is that the lady won't do a bad deal, if she's not making profit despite paying for delivery, the business won't be running anymore.
