Afri-inleo Initiative 28 - Physical vs. Online Music Mentorship
A lot of times we compare doing things online with doing it in the physical and these are two different that we cannot not really relate to each other. From the word, physical and online, are two different things which has their own ups and downs. But according to this week Afri-Inleo initiative I will discuss the theme of this week which says physical music mentorship and online music tutorials which is best? Just like I said before online and physical things are different now relating it to music, both physical music mentorship and online music tutorials still get you the results you want which has been able to do good music.
When talking about physical music mentorship, it is something that all what you are going to be doing will be in the physical aspect. You are able to see the person directly and relate with the person no matter what. When in the physical music mentorship, you have some upper hand over the online music tutorials, which is the data constraint. But to so e people it is nothing but still it is a constraint because you will pay money for data connection almost every session you want to have online.
For me as a music person, I still prefer the physical mentorship because for the online tutorial, it is also good, and you are still going to end at the same result which has been able to do music well. I have seen some people who were taught music online, and today they are doing better than those who were taught in the physical. Both of them really depends on the level of commitment and determination to it.
Both the online tutorial and the physical mentorship have their aim and objectives, so also does it have it own downside. For instance, when you are learning from someone online, you can decide when you will have the time for learning so also does it happen in the physical too, but there are just some difficulties which you will face with the physical which is the transportation fee.
The easy aspect of this topic is that if you learn online, you will still know how to do music, while if it is the other way, you will still get the result. There was a time I had to compare the rate of those who learned music online and those who took the lessons physically, and I noticed those that took online are much, that means that learning online also works depending on how you take it.
One of the things I do not like about the physical mentorship is that it is sometimes stressful to do because imagine you having a mentor who is not consistent, he or she will just keep making music worse for you to learn because it is when you have a mentor that triggers you to learn new things then you will be able to explore more. But in the online aspect, when you have decided a time for tutoring, it is always hard to shift. But regardless, I still prefer physical teaching no matter what happens.
