{Tea Review} My Experience at Mixue Sóc Sơn

Today, I would like to introduce to you a brand that I really love: Mixue - a chain of milk tea and ice cream shops from China, which has been winning the hearts of young Vietnamese people.

Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (蜜雪冰城) was founded in 1997 by student Zhang Hongchao in Zhengzhou, China. Starting from a small ice cream stall with a capital of 3,000 yuan borrowed from his grandmother, Mixue experienced many failures before finding the right direction. By 2003, the first Mixue store was opened in an abandoned aluminum factory near the school, attracting a large number of students. From there, Mixue began to expand according to the franchise model, and by 2025, there were more than 45,000 stores worldwide, surpassing McDonald's and Starbucks in the number of branches.

The special thing about Mixue is its unique business model: the company provides raw materials and equipment to franchise stores, helping to control quality and prices. Thanks to that, Mixue can provide quality products at affordable prices, suitable for the budgets of many customers.

🍹 Experience at Mixue Soc Son - A place I often visit

In Soc Son town, I noticed that there are many Mixue branches but I have tried 3 branches. Although the space of each shop may be different, the quality of the drinks is consistent. I often visit the branch near the town center because it has a clean, polite space with the main red and white tones and the image of a cute snowman - the symbol of Mixue.

Today, I ordered two favorite dishes:

• Peach tea size L: A delicious cup of peach tea with large pieces of sugar-soaked peaches, accompanied by chewy peach jelly. The tea has a strong flavor, not too sweet, very easy to drink, you can ask the staff to reduce the sugar and ice.

• Passion fruit tea: This dish has a slightly sour taste of passion fruit, accompanied by many passion fruit seeds and coconut jelly. The fresh flavor, suitable for cooling down on hot summer days. This is the best-selling dish this summer, I see almost everyone ordering this drink and if you ask the staff at this store which tea is the coolest and most refreshing, they will recommend passion fruit tea.

Both cups have a capacity of about 750ml, priced at just under $1 (about 25,000 VND), which is really reasonable for such a quality drink.
In addition to tea, Mixue also has milk tea, yogurt shakes, and ice cream. I have also had milk tea many times. Usually, they will give 3 different toppings for a cup of milk tea. However, the milk tea at Mixue is quite normal and has no distinct flavor, so I recommend that if you come to Mixue, try an ice cream (with vanilla and matcha flavors). I like the vanilla flavor, it is slightly sweet and fresh. Only $0.50 is too cheap and you can eat fresh ice cream. I also recommend that you try the tea here. The tea flavor is very strong and refreshing.

The space at Mixue Soc Son has a youthful, dynamic style with red and white tones. The shop has a waiting area outside and inside that is quite spacious, clean, and polite.
