Ive been increasing calories slowly trying to reset my metabolism after a long cut...
Started at 2100, now at 3300, thought sooner or later my weight would go up, so far I've actually hit new lows.
What is this madness!
Starting to think I'll actually be able to go up to 4000+ if this keeps going 😅
My wallet is suffering a lot with the amount of food I have to buy.
Good thing it's all cheap food (oats, fruit, Greek yoghurt, whey, bread, rice, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, pepper, salad, meat).

What are you increasing your calories for?

Trying to speed up my metabolism after a long cut to be able to live a normal life without worrying if I eat one bigger meal in one day or two and I'll get fat.
Also, I workout really heavy, so without a big amount of food I would put myself at risk of an injury.
3300 calories ?
That's impossible for me to consume that many calories; otherwise, I would have built a great physique.
I do it easily in three meals, I have a really big appetite, if I didn't control myself I would probably be able to down 5k a day easily 😅
Just my pre workout(3h) meal is 1.2k calories (200g raw oats, 2 scoops of whey, 25g of almond butter)
Dinner(post workout) is another 1k, 500g of sweet potato, 150g of meat, 10g of olive oil, pepper, mushrooms, 150-200g of greek yoghurt, 200g of red fruits, 1 scoop of whey, 2 eggs.
Lunch is another 1k-1.1k, 3 slices of bread, 150g of meat, 2 eggs, 150g of greek yoghurt, broccoli 100g, cauliflower 100g, 10g of olive oil, and some toast I got that are made with rice or corn.
Which is around 250g of protein, 80g of fat and 350-400g of carbs, I weight everything so I know I'm around 3.3k calories
I want to see if I'm able to get to 4k calories a day, then I think I would finally not feel like I'm starving all the time.
PS: I workout really heavy every day, so there's that.
Bro, I also work out heavily, but I can't eat many calories. Can you give me tips on how to digest all those calories and increase my appetite?
Honestly, I was born like this 😅 I just always loved to eat a lot. But maybe try to go after heavy calorie foods instead.
Try a triple peanut/almond butter sandwich with a smoothie of fruit, whey and if you like consistency, add oats to it, or greek yoghurt with peanut/almond butter, whey and crunched cookies.
If you really want to increase your appetite, what I've seen working with some of my slimmer friends, is starting to cycle, they say their appetite increases so much that they can eat more than they spent cycling.
