Convoy of Slugs | Creative-Sunday : Collage
Hello everyone, this is my second time participating in #creative-sunday, for me this is a challenge in itself that can make me productive every week, it can train my imagination and hone my skills in making collages - the most important thing is to keep practicing to always be creative :)
On this week's occasion my collage is more simple and I'm sure it does seem rushed, but I myself seem to lose creativity and today is quite thirsty, hopefully all is well 😅

Convoy of Slugs
I once dreamed about a giant snail, and this collage was inspired by the dream as well as a song from Tools - The Pot, where there was a man who was tired of being a farmer because his plants always withered, then one day he cried in front of the plant, miraculously the plant was immediately refreshed after the farmer's tears dripped onto the plant, in an instant the man's farm field was immediately lush filled with healthy green plants - but one day there were plant-eating slugs and they continued to eat the fertile plants until they became giants and destroyed the farm, not only that the giants slugs headed to the city to destroy everything.
I worked on this collage with Affinity Photo and created some GIFs with PhotoScape - for the work page size I used A3 with 300DPI and landscape orientation which took about a hours.
I used some materials for the collage from various public domain image sources which I will include the sources at the end of the post.
Here are steps in making this collage :
Landscape setting

The image template was a beautiful mountain scene - then I changed the sky to make it more dramatic and adjusted the exposure.
The Slugs

Then a group of giant slugs approached the small house and there was also a couple of giant slugs quenching their thirst in the lake.
The Final Step

adjusting the dark and light as well as some finishing touches.

Here are the sources of all materials :

Okay this is an evidence that with the right touch, anything can become beautiful and inspiring
Thank you @sam9999 for your kind words :)
I congratulate you, you made an excellent collage with very little, very imaginative and attractive. Best regards.
Thank you @nbarrios67 for your kind words and stopping by this weirdness 😅
Hello @teukuadam. I like the simplicity and quiet beauty of your scene in the collage. The slug convoy is an interesting theme. Although you say it is from a dream. I can say that if I made a collage of all my dreams and nightmares, there would truly be some odd and unique happenings. Nice job.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care.
What a strange and surprising dream, thanks @justclickindiva for stopping by and reading that weirdness hehehe 😅
This looks really good.. At first it felt like they were about going to war 😂
I can't imagine how they fight their wars 🤔 😅
