【 PASO 1 】 Marca la posición original del bolsillo colocando alfileres cruzados en sus 4 lados, tal como se aprecia en la imagen guía.

Mark the original position of the pocket by placing pins on all four sides, as shown in the guide image.

Su función es ser una señalización clara del lugar donde debes re-instalar el bolsillo; por favor no uses lápiz o herramientas con tintas o tiza, nada asegura que puedas remover las manchas residuales posteriormente.

This will serve as a clear indication of where you should reinstall the pocket. Please do not use pencils, ink, or chalk, as there is no guarantee that you will be able to remove any residual marks later.

【 PASO 2 】 Con el saca hilo, retira poco a poco todas las costuras que unen el bolsillo a la camisa.

【 STEP 2 】 Using the seam ripper, carefully remove all the stitches that attach the pocket to the shirt.

【 PASO 3 】 Plancha a temperatura media-baja la pieza del bolsillo que has descocido, esto facilitara el proceso de re-instalación más adelante.

【 STEP 3 】 Iron the pocket piece you have unstitched at a medium-low temperature; this will make it easier to reattach later.

【 PASO 4 】 Con ayuda de los alfileres coloca de manera central sobre el bolsillo la insignia, con 2 alfileres es suficiente; lleva la pieza completa a la máquina de coser con hilo de color blanco, con una puntada de 2 o 2.5. Retira en el proceso los alfileres.

【 STEP 4 】 Using pins, place the badge in the center of the pocket. Two pins are sufficient. Take the entire piece to the sewing machine and sew with white thread, using a stitch length of 2 or 2.5. Remove the pins as you go.

【 PASO 5 】 ¿Recuerdas los alfileres del paso número 1?, regresa la pieza de tela con la insignia ya instalada y ubícala dentro del "marco" que señalan, despues sujeta la pieza de tela a la camisa con 2 alfileres más.

Remember the pins from step 1? Return the piece of fabric with the badge already attached and place it inside the “frame” they indicate, then secure the piece of fabric to the shirt with 2 more pins.

Carga la máquina de coser o tu aguja regular con hilos azul claro, y cose con una puntada pequeña; al final puedes utilizar de nuevo la plancha para ropa si lo consideras necesario para un mejor acabado.

Load your sewing machine or regular needle with light blue thread and sew with a small stitch. At the end, you can use the iron again if you think it's necessary for a better finish.

¡Nunca es tarde para aprender o repasar los básicos!, puede que desinstalar el bolsillo completo parezca una tarea tediosa pero creo que es mas tedioso perder una insignia escolar y tener que comprar nuevas a lo largo del año escolar; créeme que vale la pena el esfuerzo y te ahorrará dolores de cabeza en el futuro 😌 🍵 🎐

It's never too late to learn or review the basics! Uninstalling the entire pocket may seem like a tedious task, but I think it's more tedious to lose a school badge and have to buy new ones throughout the school year. Believe me, it's worth the effort and will save you headaches in the future 😌 🍵 🎐
