Mi mente no se encuentra en un lugar bonito en este momento, estoy nerviosa porque entre todas las posibilidades, los vecinos me dicen que posiblemente alguien se robó a Apolo, otros me dicen que quizá este atrapado en algún lugar, pero salvo los sitios donde no me han dejado acceder a buscarlo, no se dónde más buscar.

También me ha afectado que todas las fotos de mis gatitos y los gatitos que hemos cuidado se perdieron en el disco duro que se averió hace unos meses, así que las fotos que tengo de Apolo y todos los demás son exclusivamente las que he compartido aquí en mi blog, y algunas que logré salvar de un viejo respaldo de WhatsApp.

My mind is not in a good place right now. I am nervous because, among all the possibilities, my neighbors tell me that someone may have stolen Apolo, while others tell me that he may be trapped somewhere, but except for the places where I have not been allowed to search for him, I don't know where else to look.

I'm also upset that all the photos of my kittens and the kittens we've taken care of were lost when my hard drive crashed a few months ago, so the photos I have of Apolo and all the others are exclusively the ones I've shared here on my blog, and some that I managed to save from an old WhatsApp backup.

Pero no todo es malo, hoy no me he sentado frente a la laptop solo para desahogarme, originalmente ESTE era el feliz update que tenía reservado para este Caturday:

¿Recuerdas a esta espectacular gatita de suave pelaje?, aquí puedes verla cuando era una muy MUY pequeña y adorable bebé, ha crecido muchísimo y las imágenes que vez arriba nos las envía su actual mami gatuna, mostrándonos lo sana y feliz que es hoy.

Gracias a Dios, hemos podido mantener una comunicación saludable con todos los adoptantes de los gatitos que hemos entregado; procuramos no molestar mucho pero periódicamente saludamos para saber cómo les va en su nueva vida.

But it's not all bad. Today, I didn't sit down at my laptop just to vent. Originally, THIS was the happy update I had saved for this Caturday:

Remember this spectacular kitten with soft fur? Here you can see her when she was a very, VERY small and adorable baby. She has grown so much, and the pictures you see above were sent to us by her current cat mom, showing us how healthy and happy she is today.

Thankfully, we have been able to maintain healthy communication with all the adopters of the kittens we have given away; we try not to bother them too much, but we periodically check in to see how they are doing in their new lives.

Otra feliz actualización es sobre mi pequeña loquita, Lluvia. Aquí puedes verla junto a sus hermanitas cuando tenían pocos meses de edad, ¡eran tan hermosas!, y aquí puedes verla junto a su hermanita Michiru cuando fueron esterilizadas.

Cuide a Lluvia casi desde el día en que nació y ha sido un largo camino hasta hoy, donde felizmente su nueva familia nos envía estas fotos, de ella en su nuevo hogar y en su eterno lugar favorito, ¡sobre el refrigerador!.

Su nueva mamá gatuna nos cuenta que le esta yendo muy bien, que sus nietos la aman y ella ama jugar con ellos.

Another happy update is about my little crazy girl, Lluvia. Here you can see her with her sisters when they were just a few months old. They were so beautiful! and here you can see her with her little sister Michiru when they were spayed.

I took care of Lluvia almost from the day she was born, and it has been a long journey to get to where we are today. We are happy to share these photos sent to us by her new family, showing her in her new home and in her favorite spot, on top of the refrigerator!

Her new cat mom tells us that she is doing very well, that her grandchildren love her, and that she loves playing with them.

Y para terminar por hoy, Pesto por decisión unánime se quedara con nosotros como gatita comunitarias, ya no estamos buscándole hogar porque tiene un carácter nervioso con los desconocidos... bueno, realmente ella odia a los extraños; estas fotos y mini video los tome esta mañana, ella esta muy gordita y contenta con su vida, o eso creemos, por eso no queremos enviarla lejos porque sabemos que el proceso de adaptación será increíblemente difícil.

Gracias por leerme, lamento las partes tristes, se que ya hay mucha tristeza en el mundo y siempre me gusta traer noticias alentadoras que nos llenen de esperanza, pero con la ausencia de Apolo literalmente me han arrancado una parte de mi corazón.

Por favor si puedes, pon a mi gatito en tus oraciones, si no vuelve conmigo, que al menos este en un lugar seguro con personas que lo quieran y lo cuiden, que nunca le falte su comidita, agua limpia y amor.

And to finish up for today, Pesto will be staying with us as a community cat by unanimous decision. We are no longer looking for a home for her because she is nervous around strangers... well, she actually hates strangers. I took these photos and mini video this morning. She is very chubby and happy with her life, or so we believe, which is why we don't want to send her away because we know that the adjustment process will be incredibly difficult.

Thank you for reading. I apologize for the sad parts. I know there is already a lot of sadness in the world, and I always like to bring encouraging news that fills us with hope, but with Apolo's absence, a part of my heart has literally been torn out.

Please, if you can, keep my kitty in your prayers. If he doesn't come back to me, at least let him be in a safe place with people who love and care for him, where he will never lack food, clean water, and love.
