¿Ocurrió algo en especial hoy?, si, he despertado por segundo día consecutivo enferma -¡cómo lloran mis articulaciones!- 😂 ¿y qué tiene de bueno eso?, que mi día libre se ha adelantado y una mañana de procrastinación y lento -muy lento- andar por el malestar me han regalado algunos momentos de necesaria lucidez.

En Hive todavía estamos conversando animadamente sobre las metas y propósitos de Año Nuevo, pero a medida que nos vamos serenando hay cosas que 2025 dejó en la mesa y a mi me gustaría diseccionar antes de que sean -por tendencia generalizada- descartadas (como ocurre con casi todo hoy día, fugaz, vertiginoso, y engañosamente sustituible).

Por ejemplo, me hago preguntas sobre qué tendremos después del internet, quiero decir ESTE internet, ¿conoces la paradoja o teoría del internet muerto?, me hace pensar que en un futuro próximo tendremos algo así como un "internet 2.0", con algún mecanismo que lo haga estrictamente restringido al uso de seres humanos (personalidad y originalidad a la orden del día, sí por favor); también, ¿cómo nos comportaríamos como sociedad una vez que nuestros medios de interacción digital por norma y no por excepción, lleguen a estar libres de algoritmos e ingeniería maquiavélica?.

Creo que Hive como red social dará mucho de qué hablar y se volverá bastante relevante cuando comience una ola migratoria -por fatiga generalizada- de otras redes sociales, si sus respectivas empresas no prestan oídos y atención a lo que manifiestan sus usuarios.

¿Te acuerdas de la marea de grandes Youtubers que se mudó a la plataforma de Twitch hace unos años?, claro, con el tiempo nuevos creadores se han establecido pero creo que la edad dorada de Youtube pasó hace mucho tiempo y no porque le correspondiera como evento canónico en su lore, sino que ha sido un estado de decadencia auto-infringido. "Las plataformas están muriendo como las conocemos" es un video que te recomiendo altamente prestar atención hoy.

For example, I wonder what we will have after the internet, I mean THIS internet. Are you familiar with the paradox or theory of the dead internet? It makes me think that in the near future we will have something like an “internet 2.0,” with some mechanism that makes it strictly restricted to human use (personality and originality the order of the day, yes please). Also, how would we behave as a society once our means of digital interaction, as the norm and not the exception, become free of algorithms and Machiavellian engineering?

I think Hive as a social network will be the talk of the town and will become quite relevant when a wave of migration begins—due to widespread fatigue—from other social networks, if their respective companies do not listen and pay attention to what their users are saying.

Do you remember the wave of big YouTubers who moved to the Twitch platform a few years ago? Of course, over time new creators have established themselves, but I think YouTube's golden age is long gone, not because it was a canonical event in its lore, but because it has been a state of self-inflicted decline. “Platforms are dying as we know them” is a video that I highly recommend you watch today.

Oh, y también he estado preguntándole a DeepSeek sobre algunas comparaciones entre plataformas de blogging, ¿conoces por ejemplo Substrack?, me hice una cuenta en 2024 y aunque no he posteado nada allí todavía, note un cambio importante en la comunidad general hasta hoy (por ejemplo el contenido en español era muy escaso o inexistente).
