🇪🇸 ~ ¡Feliz NeedleworkMonday a todos! ☕ 🧁 ¿Cómo van sus proyectos de costura?, por aquí me ha costado mucho trabajo encontrar un espacio libre para avanzar aunque sea un poco en las costuras que tengo pendientes o a medio camino.

🇺🇸 ~ Happy Needlework Monday, everyone! ☕ 🧁 How are your sewing projects coming along? Here, I've had a hard time finding free time to make even a little progress on the sewing projects I have pending or halfway done.

Esta actualización será algo corta pero espero disfruten el recorrido de lo que he podido hacer ayer, hoy tuvimos otro corte del servicio eléctrico que duro casi 5 horas y estoy contra reloj para cumplir mis metas del día ; u ;

This update will be somewhat brief, but I hope you enjoy seeing what I was able to accomplish yesterday. Today we had another power outage that lasted almost five hours, and I am racing against the clock to meet my goals for the day ;u;

En la primera parte de este proyecto logré hacer todo el apartado de patronaje y preparación de los materiales, que usualmente es lo mas pesado o la parte de la elaboración que toma mas tiempo (al menos en mi caso); si bien ya tengo experiencia elaborando Headdress Lolita, como este es un diseño nuevo/experimental hay cosas que he ido ajustando en el camino.

In the first part of this project, I managed to complete all the pattern making and material preparation, which is usually the most difficult or time-consuming part of the process (at least in my case). Although I already have experience making Lolita headdresses, as this is a new/experimental design, there are things that I have been adjusting along the way.

Por ejemplo la banda de tela que prepare para instalar a los lados resulto tener una caída demasiado pesada y para nada halagadora, así que empecé a jugar un poco con ella doblándola y haciéndole algunas líneas y dobleces con la maquina de coser; afortunadamente conseguí una configuración con cierto encanto y decidí coserlo de esa manera de forma permanente para que sostuviera esa forma.

For example, the fabric band I prepared to install on the sides turned out to be too heavy and not at all flattering, so I started playing around with it a bit, folding it and making some lines and folds with the sewing machine. Fortunately, I came up with a configuration that had a certain charm, and I decided to sew it that way permanently so that it would hold its shape.
