🇺🇸 ~ Happy Caturday, dear friends! I hope your kitties are at home and that you are all well, happy, healthy, and safe 🐈 💕
The cats here have had a good week. Right now, they are taking a nap, and I can rest after taking Apollo and Galatea for their midday walk, because as part of the new safety routine for everyone, I am trying to make sure that their sunbathing time coincides.
Since Galatea and Apollo are the most dominant of the group, I think they make a good team to look out for each other and let me know if something is wrong.

🇪🇸 ~ Feliz Caturday queridos amigos, espero sus gatitos en casa y ustedes se encuentren muy bien, felices, saludables y seguros 🐈 💕Los michis aquí han tenido una buena semana, justo ahora están tomando la siesta y yo puedo descansar después del paseo de medio día de Apolo y Galatea, porque entre las medidas de la nueva rutina de seguridad para todos, estoy procurando que su hora de tomar el sol coincida.
Como Galatea y Apolo son los mas dominantes del grupo, creo que hacen buen equipo para cuidarse mutuamente y avisar si algo no va bien.

The end of outdoor playtime varies greatly depending on the protagonist. Apollo is easy to bring inside because I can convince him to come in with a little food, although he usually lets me pick him up without any problems if I speak to him in a soft, affectionate voice.
But Galatea is not like that at all. She is temperamental and doesn't like being told when outdoor playtime is over. She usually hisses at me like a little lion, runs away, and sometimes tries to bite me if I try to pick her up. I just have to wait until she gets tired so she'll let me put her away (or use the old reliable trick of opening a can of sardines and tempting her with that treat).
Something funny that happened this week is that I called her for several minutes and she didn't show up. I got scared, but after looking for a while, she was just hiding between some flower pots, ignoring me 😂 I love her unique personality.

El final del recreo afuera es muy diferente dependiendo el protagonista, Apolo es fácil de guardar porque puedo convencerlo con un poco de comida para que entre a la casa, aunque normalmente se deja cargar sin problemas si le hablas con voz suave y cariñosa.Pero Galatea no es para nada así, ella es temperamental, y no le gusta que le digan cuándo se acaba el recreo afuera. Normalmente me sisea como un pequeño león, corre lejos, y a veces a tratado de morderme si intento cargarla. Simplemente tengo que esperar a que se canse para que me deje guardarla (o usar la vieja confiable, abrir una latita de sardina y tentarla con esa chuchería).
Algo gracioso que paso esta semana es que la llame por varios minutos y no aparecía, me asuste, pero después de buscar un rato ella estaba simplemente escondida entre unas macetas ignorándome 😂 adoro su personalidad tan única.

Y en una noticia diferente les presento a "EL MACHO", un gatito que vive en el edificio de un familiar en medio de la ciudad, que me comenta de vez en cuando algunos acontecimientos de la colonia gatuna de esos edificios.
Hay opiniones divididas, a algunos vecinos les gustan los gatos, a otros no, a los que si les gustan ayudan con su alimentación, también me han dicho que algunas buenas personas se han encargado de esterilizar a algunos mininos.
Pero "El Macho" no esta esterilizado y es el papá de muchos gatitos allí, quisiera visitarlos pronto para saber mejor la situación.
Dato curioso, hace muchos años recuerdo que estos edificios eran conocidos por tener gatos callejeros siameses, simplemente era asombroso, veías 3, 4, o hasta 6 gatos siameses impresionantemente hermosos deambulando por allí 🥺 siempre quise uno me mi familia no me dejaba adoptarlos, eso fue aproximadamente hace unos 13 años.
And in other news, let me introduce you to “EL MACHO,” a kitten who lives in a relative's building in the middle of the city, who occasionally tells me about events in the cat colony in those buildings.
Opinions are divided; some neighbors like cats, others don't. Those who do like them help feed them, and I've also been told that some kind people have had some of the cats neutered.
But “El Macho” is not neutered and is the father of many kittens there. I would like to visit them soon to get a better understanding of the situation.
Fun fact: Many years ago, I remember these buildings were known for having stray Siamese cats. It was simply amazing. You would see three, four, or even six stunningly beautiful Siamese cats wandering around 🥺 I always wanted one, but my family wouldn't let me adopt them. That was about 13 years ago.
