Así que sin buscarlo ahora tengo una nueva colección, aunque no soy especialista en condecoraciones militares aprecio mucho la historia de mi país (seas de una tendencia política o de otra, todos concordamos en que nuestros próceres son figuras asombrosas), incluso cuando era adolescente considere hacer una carrera militar despues de graduarme, pero mi entorno me desanimó rápidamente pinchando esa nube con comentarios sobre lo poco adecuada que era para ser militar (también me pasó cuando dije que quería ser médico veterinario).

No es que yo quisiera agarrar un fusil e ir a la guerra, pero cuando eres niña y mirabas por TV los desfiles militares, cuando aparecía en la pantalla la unidad especial de "Cazadores", oye era muy impresionante, era la parte que más me gustaba incluso más que ver cuando aparecían los tanques, y mi abuelita me comentaba que ese era el trabajo de mi papá. Yo era muy pequeña para entender en toda su complejidad lo que eso significaba.

[English Version] So without looking for it now I have a new collection, although I am not a specialist in military decorations, I appreciate very much the history of my country (whether you are of one political tendency or another, we all agree that our independence heroes are amazing figures), even when I was a teenager I considered a military career after graduating, but my environment discouraged me quickly poking that cloud with comments about how unsuitable I was to be military (it also happened to me when I said I wanted to be a veterinarian).

It's not that I wanted to grab a rifle and go to war, but when you're a kid and you see the military parades on TV, when the special unit of "Cazadores", appears on the screen, hey, it was very impressive, it was the part I liked the most, even more than seeing the tanks appear, and my grandmother commented to me that that was my father's job. I was too young to understand what that meant in all its complexity.

Con un poco de esfuerzo y mucho Google estoy intentando ubicar la identificación correcta de cada pieza. También estoy investigando con qué tipo de solución puedo limpiarlas y no deteriorar su estado.

Éste es un proyecto al que quiero ponerle cariño, no quiero guardarlas en una caja si no exponerlas en un pequeño cajón enmarcado en la pared; es algo en lo que llevo un tiempo pensando, hay muchas fotos familiares hermosas guardadas en álbumes acumulando polvo, me haría feliz ver esas fotos expuestas y sé que hay varias de la graduación de la academia de mi papá o de algún otro evento con su uniforme.

Sería genial poder acompañar el pequeño cajón de las insignias con esas fotos al lado. ¡Ya veremos! ~

! [English Version] With a little effort and a lot of googling, I am trying to find the correct identification of each piece. I am also researching what kind of solution I can use to clean them without ruining their condition.

This is a project I want to put some love into, I don't want to keep them in a box but display them in a small framed drawer on the wall, it's something I've been thinking about for a while, there are many beautiful family photos stored in albums gathering dust, it would make me happy to see those photos on display and I know there are several from my dad's academy graduation or some other event with his uniform.

It would be great to go with the little badge drawer with those photos next to it. We'll see! ~
