🇪🇸 ~ ¡Miren esos cachetes!, @Vanuzza y yo eramos adorables 💗 En ese tiempo aún estaba en la universidad, creo era 2010 o máximo 2011, y estaba muy de moda los accesorios "hipster", una tienda "Claire´s" abrió una sucursal en el mall mas grande de la ciudad y aunque la atencion al cliente era horrible podías conseguir estos enormes lentes tan de moda.
🇺🇸 ~ Look at those cute cheeks, @Vanuzza and I were adorable 💗 At that time I was still in university, I think it was 2010 or 2011 at the latest, and “hipster” accessories were very fashionable, a store “Claire's” opened a branch in the biggest mall in town and although the customer service was horrible you could get these huge glasses so trendy.
En ese tiempo me pintaba el cabello de color naranja zanahoria, me quedaba bastante bien aunque pronto dejaría de hacerlo porque el tinte de ese color comenzaría a escasear, y yo solo me sentía cómoda con el color anaranjado zanahoria, ¡muy zanahoria! 🧡 🥕 Y cuando lo tenía recién pintado me encantaba pedirle a Van que nos tomáramos fotos juntas antes de salir.
At that time I used to paint my hair carrot orange, it looked pretty good on me although I would soon stop doing it because the dye of that color would start to become scarce, and I only felt comfortable with carrot orange, very carrot! 🧡 🥕 And when I had it freshly painted I loved to ask Van to take pictures of us together before we went out.

Estas fotos son de hace 15 años mas o menos, hoy ya no me pinto el cabello, de la "moda hipster" poco o nada a sobrevivido, y esa tienda de accesorios cerró hace muchos años para luego volver post-pandemia en forma de un enorme almacén de ropa de la misma marca: Los edificios, las tiendas, la ciudad cambian y es maravilloso poder recordar y comparar, Van y yo seguimos aquí, para mi todo ha cambiado y a la vez sigue igual y es un sentimiento complicado de explicar.
These photos are from 15 years ago or so, today I no longer paint my hair, little or nothing of the “hipster fashion” has survived, and that accessories store closed many years ago to then return post-pandemic in the form of a huge clothing store of the same brand: The buildings, the stores, the city change and it is wonderful to remember and compare, Van and I are still here, for me everything has changed and at the same time remains the same and it is a complicated feeling to explain.
Estas fotos son parte de los álbumes que me gustaba hacer en físico y me recuerdan a una época muy linda de mi vida cuando estaba en esa transición de estudiante a adulto, tendría 20 o 21 años y muchos planes y sueños, la mayoría pude cumplirlos y en otros todavía estoy trabajando; creo que en ese tiempo era una persona muy adorable, y tambien bastante ingenua, recuerdo a esta "yo" con dulzura y agradezco todos los amigos y oportunidades que se me presentaron en los años siguientes. Espero conseguir mas fotos de esos años ❤ (ɔˆз(ˆ⌣ˆc)
These photos are part of the albums that I liked to make in physical and remind me of a very nice time in my life when I was in that transition from student to adult, I would have 20 or 21 years old and many plans and dreams, most of them I could fulfill and in others I am still working; I think that at that time I was a very adorable person, and also quite naive, I remember this “me” with sweetness and I am grateful for all the friends and opportunities that were presented to me in the following years. I hope to get more pictures of those years ❤ (ɔˆз(ˆ⌣ˆc)
