Here is another brain buster for you.

What if there are no threats?

I was recently reading an article about a problem in Finland. The social security system there is excellent. Everyone has good healthcare. Everyone is provided food to eat, internet, safe place to live and all the necessities of daily life.

*No problems, no worries

And that's the threat.

People have no need to work for their food. They have no need to work for their money. Every need is taken care of....

so then what?

Then people find out that they have to find the real meaning of life and if they don't find it they are lost in a meaningless existence. People lose the desire to leave their home, lose the desire to do anything and waste their lives away watching movies, playing games and staying at home doing nothing productive.

By solving all the threats a giant threat got created ....

.... Weird huh?

It is a good article. Finding ways to eliminate threats is a great way to find a business idea. However, I personally find that searching for one's purpose in life and following that usually leads a person where they should go...and be happier while getting there.

Just my quick thoughts :)

Thanks for sharing

Well this is definitely an angle I did not consider. The country I'm from there are a lot threats that has made living difficult, I guess I viewed the topic from that point of view.

A country without threat, it will definitely be a fun place to live in.

I appreciate your thoughtful contribution, thanks for stopping by 🤗

Always my pleasure to read a good article.

Canada has different threats to be sure but when I hear about Finland with no threats and that alone is the threat....weird to think of :)

Have a great day

Light has no worth unless there is existence of dark. When there is nothing you wanna avoid, the things that you acquired lose value. Depression and anxiety in underdeveloped countries have one reason while in developed nation there are entirely different reason.
Absence of threats is a bigger threat, indeed. Insuch a situation one needs to explore the real purpose of life, else the devastation is at the edge.

My thoughts exactly :)

People in developing nations think developed nations have everything. Well, we may have everything they lack but we have problems they never even considered :)

Also as you mentioned what value in light if there is no dark?

Nothing like sorrow to make you appreciate joy

Nothing like being hungry to help you appreciate a good meal.

Nothing like lonliness to help you appreciate good company :)

but we have problems they never even considered :)

That's the truth. That's why gratitude is the mother of all the good things in life
