She sells strawberries on the seashore
Hello Hello Hivians
A couple of weeks ago I decided to do a quick walk to the beach then to the shop. Whilst getting ready to come home, Mrs T texted where was I and could she come and go for a walk!
I said sure, let's go see the seals. so today for #wednesdaywalk I am going to show you our scramble over the seafront!
So let's head to a suitable starting point on the grass on the Fife coastal trail.
Just look at that bonnie blue sky! Even though it was coming on evening it was still beautiful.
First up was a bunch of gossipmongers! Can you see them all huddled together chewing the fat?
More of them later, as they were too far away for me to hear what they were saying, and they would not turn the volume up when I asked them to!
I did think someone would help me ask the birds...
But no, dad and daughter were just going for a paddle to enjoy the warm water.
Warm haha who am I kidding, although it is September and that is the warmest as it has had all summer to warm up with the sun's rays beating down on it allegedly!
The Fife Coastal Trail
Here we go, proof we are on the Fife Coastal Trail. As the name suggests it does more or less hug the coast, although sometimes with erosions you have to move inland and onto the other side of the traintracks!

On the left was where we had come from. As you can see it was a belter of a day, the last os that little Indian summer spell we had, so there were plenty of people taking advantage of the seaside to enjoy those rays of sun.
On the right was where we were going!
They do have a sort of gritty earthy path that you can use in lieu of being on the beach.
We were sticking to that trail ....for the time being!
Look what we saw though, dirty bastards, if you are out drinking at least take your cans and put them in a litter bin, trying to burn them does not work doh! And why not have a wee fire on the beach it is safer than starting a grass fire.
Funnily enough on the way from our walk (fast forward now) this couple took my words are were just chilling on the beach with a wee fire!
Back to the way we are going though!
You do get to see a variety of pups being walked at all hours of the day on the beach and trail, because yes the tide is out on this walk.
Now first of all we are going to the other side of that ruined giant pier!
There we made it!
So where are the seals?
Said Mrs T!
What the fluff, says I, we are nowhere near them yet!
Now was time to hit the beach, well rock pools!
Do you like to see what you can find in rock pools?
Did you see the brain in the pool?
That was the question I was asked! What the fluff, let's take a closer look!!!
Fluffed if I knew what it was.
But, it did look the head of a seagull orbird,do you see the face?
One other bird was looking fluffing cute...
In fact this was the first time that I had taken a picture of this particular bird.
My first snapped Curlew
Safe to say I am pretty chuffed with that shot, I actually took three pictures and I will see about making a suitable post for feathered friends community if I see a suitable prompt from @nelinoeva.
It was pointed out that there was a drop of water coming off the beak to add to the stunner of a pic!
Speaking of birds, there are a couple of other species that I snapped.
Oystercatchers! How cool was that, of course as soon as I tried to get closer, then whoosh they flew away.
Are we there yet!
Are we there yet!
Well no not, quite.
That was one hell of a size of tree trunk I can tell you!
Beyond the tower is the land of S.
S standing for seal
and
S for strawberries
What on earth, there were strawberries dotted around the grass!
Well we shall find out more about whether the seals eat the strawberries next week, but in the mean time I leave you with an early evening view.
This concludes my post for this week's #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay in collaboration with #makemesmile hosted by @elizacheng.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!

DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND DO IT OFTEN
Haste Ye Back!
Beach , chillin and some barbeque, I want that!
You have the weather for that, we are about to have a storm lol!
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍
Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
Fantastic thanks guys!
I'd probably rather stay on the path than the beach as well. Definitely easier to keep the sand out of my shoes. They are pretty strict about fires on the beach around here. You can maybe get away with it once or twice in different locations, but they generally patrol it pretty well. It looks like this was a really nice walk!
Oh they don't patrol anything here. Parks beaches trails, the little shits get away with murder!
The path is cool but too far from interesting stuff when the tide has gone out lol
Dirty buggers. I hate it when drinkers just leave their detritus all over the shop!
Yeah There was a bin not that far away either. Dirty shits!
Curlew what an awesome capture, Oyster catches here are completely black with red beak and feet over here.
Plenty to see and do on your Fife path all except the seals !LOLZ

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoThe Oyster catchers are fun Joan and travel around in numbers. Last time I saw them they invaded a football pitch in our localpark!
Yes Autumn is here and with it a drop in temperature. No getting sunburnt with your warm sun down there now!
Still on a see-saw here 24C today, Friday 27C, Saturday 31C and Sunday 19C max temps daytime.
Never seen oyster catchers inland only ever on the beaches, I can imagine they would move for food though.
31 to 19 is some change!
Yes it's all about the food I guess, and when I saw them at the park they were all pecking the ground right enough, so perhaps a worm invasion, but in saying that, the beach is only a ten minute walk away so not that far really.
Sure to be something bogged if after rains, birds know where to find a delicious Smörgåsbord.

.What a beautiful place for a Wednesday walk dear friend @tengolotodo I love natural environments, and much more if they are close to the coast
Beautiful photographs, I really appreciate that you have shown us
Have a wonderful afternoon
Thank you so much my friend @jlufer I must admit my favourite walks are along the coast hehe.
It is beautiful though, wishing you a wonderful rest of your day!
Hmmm I wished to have the sea around the corner. Very nice walk ❤️
Oh goodness I would miss not being close to the sea!
Only 80 pounds for littering? That's why those bastards were burning their shit... I saw signs here for a thousand euros fines, but still, some people are stupid and litter around, leaving dogshit on the streets, etc.
You have such an amazing nature! Thanks for sharing!
The authorities over here don't care. They have notices for littering and dog shit but there is nobody checking up or fining people unfortunately.
The nature though is really awesome and it is such a pleasure sharing. Thanks Zoltan, have a great day 😁
such a beautiful walk in such a lovely area
was such fun to read your post
I often seeing the cormorants with there wings out drying here
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Thanks Jay, yeah it is a common sight the cormorants drying their wings an always fun to see
👍🙂👍
I like long walkth on the beat 👀
Those gosspmongers reminds me of someone I know. Crazy how people are the very disasters they hate. Lol. I like his tattoos. The couple and the woman’s red hair.
Ah so who is being the gossiper now? I knew the tattoos would catch your eyes...
This was a lovely walk, Super Ed!! I love that pic of the curlew 😍
I wonder. Have you ever dared to swim in that 'warm sea'? 😆
hehe I was quite chuffed with the curlew shot. The water lmao no, not since I was a child have I swum in the water. But people do Super Eli!!!
It is so nice to walk on the beach or near it and to see all these birds. Brilliant shot of the curlew. 🙂 I haven't seen yet a curlew or oystercatchers.
It is so beautiful there.
Thanks Neli, yes the curlew I have seen on TV but this was the first live and I was quite excited. The oystercatchers we get from time to time.I remember once about twenty of them came to the park.
