March winter sun โ˜€๏ธ frolic with sea ๐ŸŒŠ sand ๐Ÿ–๏ธ and animals ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›๐Ÿฆฎ

โ˜€๏ธ

Hello Hello Hivians and welcome to our second Wednesday in March!

The Universe delivered!

In last week's post for #wednesdaywalk Wandering around the home of golf I said ...

I can't wait for some good weather!

And blow me down but it duly arrived the next day and lasted until Sunday!

This then, is a trip down to our local beach on Saturday 8th March 2025.

Breakfast al fresco

One of my ulterior motives for going to Seafield beach which is this one, is that you have to walk past a street vendor selling hot food unless you walk through the supermarket carpark.

We do have picnic tables, so no excuse not to sit and eat.

The carpark had some cars and I forgot that we are on a Saturday. Good early weather brings people out.

image.png

The roll was bought and included two thick slices of bacon, a Lorne (or flat) sausage and some grilled onions.

Two of them and a cup of coffee for ยฃ!0.50 was pretty damn good in my book. It's only a minute to walk to sit and eat.

Apologies for the picture it is fluffing awful!

image.png

To the beach we went and I did notice there is some more erosion with the storms over the winter.

Haar

It could have been a heat haze but I am more prone to say it was the haar or sea fog/mist that was over the water making it look so hazy.

image.png

No Haar

If you swivelled around 180 degrees and look inland you see the blue sky courtesy of Mr Sun โ˜€๏ธ

image.png

You can see some of the banks of sand are being eroded and the sea grasses are being exposed.

Winter plants are still bare but make for some nice shots.

image.png

Banana on the beach?

image.png

Well actually it wasn't. It was discarded plastic!

My trusty grabber came in handy. When I know we are going beachcombing on a winning beach, I sometimes take my grabber which acts as a great rake.

I can't be arsed popping up down like a yoyo every ten seconds, so it comes in handy

Grabber to the rescue!

image.png

image.png

High tide

The tide was not far off from being high. No it doesn't smoke weed, for you landlubbers we have a high tide and a low tide. Low tides are great as the sea has gone out and there is plenty of space for people to walk.

High tides are great too, but you have to watch your feet when walking close to the waves so you don't get wet!

image.png

Costa del Kirkcaldy

The Cosat del Sol and Costa Brava in Spain can look like concrete jungles with all the hotels and apartments.

When the weather is like this, our wee beach gives off concrete costa vibes!

image.png

Teal Burn dives the beach
No it is too fluffing cold to wade through the burn and so we will not be crossing to the olther beach today!

image.png

Noisy corvids!

The raven closest to us was a noisy wee shit. You can see the one on the left coming into land on the concrete block, and blimey the one on right was giving it fluffing laldy!

image.png

So much laldy that the raven on the mini cliff was giving them the look!

image.png

Colourful spoils

It turns out that the beach got quite popular and there are some people mass collecting seaglass off the beach to sell!

Cheeky fluffers, I think we should only take what you use personally.

I guess this the human habit though and why we exploit our resources to death!

There were some colourful shards of pottery and I even found a wee blue bit of glass!

image.png

Time to head back and bid farewell to the waves.

image.png

image.png

It was not just me who is enthralled with waves, many dogs love to get out there and this one was no exception!

image.png

The little ones however would only dip their paws in!

image.png

It was time to head back towards home.

image.png

Busy BumbleBees

The great news was that we encountered two big puffy and fluffy bumblebees.

I must admit when I think of bees it is bumblebees that I think of.

And boy aren't they fluffing cute!

Spring is coming, as the buds are telling us!

image.png

Cheers everyone!

I hope you enjoy mt frolic in the sun on the beach!

This post is for #wednesdaywalk which was inspired by @tattoodjay

Thanks for visiting and I hope you managed to get out for a walk this week.

Looks like it was a really nice walk. I am hoping that my wife and I can start getting out on some of the trails soon. It's been too long to be cooped up inside!

Yeah cabin fever would send me round the bend. Do you ever put your winter woolies on and go trudging through the snow into the woods or anything?

No, not really. It's much too cold most of the time and I don't really have proper winter boots.

What a lovely walk you had, Teng. I love your grabber. So, is that how you go with it all the time when you are out?
The images were captured nicely and they all look beautiful.

I rarely take it Busayo, but I knew we were going to do beach combing so I took it. It is also great when I want to grab Mrs T's arse in public and she is just that wee bit too far away๐Ÿคฃ

It's good that the sun is finally out and the weather is better on that side of the planet! Walking on the beach can be therapeutic, and in your case, even productive because not only do you find โ€œrock treasuresโ€, you eat a good sandwich and even take great pictures, like these. Not to mention that you will make money doing reviews of your walks. ;D A big hug, Ed!

Well the sun was out, but then went away again! The sea is wonderful, the fresh air makes me feel alive! Thank you Nancy and a big hug to you for reading my reviews ;)
