Last night I was having a chat with some who mentioned Stop Stop Stop and I countered with Go Go.
Of course go go dancers sprang into my head as well as Belinda Carlisle and The Go-Go's!
Today is all Go and we are three tunes from The Go-Go's!

The Go-Go's were an iconic American all-female rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1978.

A They were the first successful all-female band to write their own songs, play their own instruments, and have a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

You gotta love those 80s hairstyles!
"We Got the Beat" is I think The Go-Go's signature song.
It's a super-catchy new wave anthem released in 1981 and showcases their energetic blend of pop and punk.
An earworm?
You have to love those driving drums, guitars, and the one and only Belinda Carlisle's infectious vocals.
The song's lyrics are simple but catchy, all about the joys of dancing and having a good time.
The Go-Go's - Lust To Love
"Lust To Love" was released as the second single from their debut album Beauty and the Beat in 1981. Became a top 40 hit I believe.
It is also one of their most played songs, I like it as it fast-paced with an upbeat tune.
The lyrics explore the theme of lust and infatuation with Belinda Carlisle expressing her desire for someone she can't have. Quite ironic coming from her 🤣
The Go-Go's - Our Lips Are Sealed
Last up, well what happens on Hive stays on Hive!
So yeah a fitting way to round of this ttt with Our Lips Are Sealed!

I remember listening to “Lust To Love” and I love it. I remember several girl bands that played in the 80's. In Latin America there were merengue and salsa bands. I have never been to a big band concert, only minor bands, but it must be great, crazy to hear our favorite singer or band live. Regards
Yeah I have seen quite a few big band concerts over the years, mind you now for a few years now though! Ah I used to frequent a club that played merengue and salsa, now that was fun with a big F!

Lust to Love is an almost song, they have some great stuff, the lead singer Belinda Carlisle also records on her own and has some wonderful stuff.

They are one of my favorite girl bands, they are awesome! Beauty and the Beat was an awesome album, I had both vinyl and a cassette at one point... lol All of those are great picks, La La Land I hadn't heard before, that was really cool! Hard to believe it was over 20 years ago...
