Hospital Smash

Hello Hello Hivians

Earlier this morning I was waiting to have my hydrotherapy session at the hospital I thought I would wait in the Haven. Which is a quiet garden within the main part of the hospital.

I always arrive early and have about 30 minutes to kill before my hydro starts.

So every Thursday I walk along this corridor. I shall tell you why in a moment!

UK hospitals have quite a lot of art around the place especially paintings.

The sun was out and one great thing about The QM (Queen Margaret Hospital) is how bright it is with so many windows.

image.png

All steps led to The Haven Garden ...

Except it was closed until 11.30am. Eveery Thursday it is the same thing. They look like they are volunteers who were in the garden watering and pulling up weeds etc.

image.png

Back the way I came I went!

image.png

When it is dry I like to sit outside and I have learnt where there is another outside area up this corridor that I can hang out in!

image.png

I think this is my favourite window...

image.png

If you look at the windows they have petals and leaves which cast the funky shadows on the floor.

image.png

Unfortunately the wooden fence does not add to the shadow, in fact it blocks things out!

image.png

image.png

But now, decisions, decisions, decisions!

Yes it's that time for me to choose my entry picture!

So here 👇👇👇 is my entry for Show Me A Shadow - Round 385

image.png

This was a trickier choice again. But I did narrow it down to two, and in fact I choose a different one whilst I was writing this post!

I like the angles on the bottom left corner and the overall symmetry of this picture.

I never know which picture to choose as the entry, and I do try to make a story with my posts rather than just a post and a run kind of thing!!

What do you think? Did I pick the suitable one, or would you have chosen another one?

This is my contribution to Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest - Round 385 from the magically marvellous @melinda010100 and the simply superb Shadow Hunters community.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!

It's not easy choosing the best one, they are all nice.
I like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd,...I give up, can't pick. Very nice bright corridor for a hospital!

Those windows make some great shadows! I love it when hospitals make an effort to make the environment better for the patients. Making it seem more peaceful does encourage healing in my opinion. It's nice that they have a garden area too, what a nice place! I hope it continues to do the trick and get you back to 100%, I know I would like to get back there myself!

This hospital is great, and they even have patients who make and donate models, paint pictures etc. The garden is great, and not just for the patients, but for staff to eat their lunch there too etc.

get you back to 100%

Hehe a new back neck and hips would be be needed for that 🤣
We just keep smiling and get out and about as much as we can. I hope you are on the mend tho.

Sounds like you need a genie or a magic wand in that case! All you can do is just keep going!
