Fierce Double for Valentine's Day
Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.
It's Saturday, which means it's #beersaturday, not that you need an excuse to drink a beer of course! Today though i was being a wee hobgoblin lol!
it is not any old Saturday it is the second Saturday in February .... and it is Valentine's Day!
I just finished my beer tonight watching the latest video from Mrs T which you can see above, feel free to have a wee look see. It might entice her to Hive, you never know!
Time for a tasty Fierce CLOUD COVER DOUBLE IPA
It is one of my favourites at the moment, the 7.4% APR certainly helps! Being a favourite I always have a few cans of it in the fridge for days like today!
It pops a nice wee head, not too much, but frothy enough!

Let's rewind a bit.
I don't really do the going out for dinner on Valentine's Day. It is generally a rip off and places are busy.
So for years I will go afterwards and cook something tasty at home.

Except this year, the weather was so foul I didn't go grocery shopping the last couple of days, so decided to rustle up a pepperoni pizza with some added mozzarella and cheddar cheese!
I don't really do pizza but Mrs T loves it, so when I do make one it is a treat for her...
Came out really well, I can't be doing with these crispy aka burnt pizzas!

I have written about it before so will not dwell on that too much, it is a double IPA so does have a healthy kick to it, something I know @nancybriti1 likes to feel...

My Verdict
I like it and I loved my fluffing pizza! It is citrusy and it does pack a punch. As Mrs T said perfectly, it is not like drinking a beer, it does not taste of beer! That is always a be careful sign, one too many and you are on your arse!
Never the less, a decent pint, and fluffing good pizza, I do love that cook or is it chef T!

I had some beer this weekend for a change. It was an Oktoberfest that my sister in law still had kicking around in her fridge. Did you see that Brew Dog is looking for someone to buy them?
Yeah it has been going on for quite some time. Now they brought a firm to restructure, but one of cofounders is waiting in the wings to buy it cheap 🤣

No, it would be more of a Marzen on the Oktoberfest. I didn't see the can as she served it to me in a glass. It was pretty delicious though. I think BrewDog has two locations in Columbus, OH and I saw they are going to close the one. I think the hotel and brewery is still going to stay open for now.
