Another week another few shells

There is nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment when you successfully tread the path you laid out and collect predetermined things along the way!

The fourth weekend of 2025 is here and with it the third weekly report of my Saturday Savers Club participation for 2025.

I am publishing this in our Silver Bloggers community as we do have an interest in crypto and this involved two cryptocurrencies!

As we rapidly approach February with four weeks of the year almost over, our new year's resolutions or well under way or have been cast aside like last year's rotten trash.

I shall be Using the Penny a Day Savings Challenge

I have not decided how I will report my progress but at the moment I am tracking my daily progess ...

Primary Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD

Now then I did say I was doing my version of the penny savings challenge.

One thing that I have learnt about the savings penny a day challenge is that (for me anyway) if you start out slow and do the penny and three penny amounts that when you get to the two and three dollars to save a day it is way harder!

Ed's Special version makes use of the make hay while the sun shines philosophy...

I have been extremely lucky to have received some amazing post payouts recently so I am topping up my 2025 savings pot ahead of schedule!

Being a lazy bum will not cut it!!!

As you can see from my account screenshot I really am flying along with 81.398 HBD in my savings pot ...

Secondary Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC

Like many of us I sold Bitcoin well below what it is now!

I also believe it will keep going up in the long term...

So I decided to buy 3 USDT worth of Bitcoin each and every day...

I have an auto-invest order on Binance...

The amount of Bitcoin I have now is ... 0.00067034

Which is 0.00020176 more than last week!

It is fun to collect things .... Now it is $HBD and $BTC..

There we have it, it should be an interesting year!

My SSC goals for 2025 with progress to date are :

Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD, To Date 81.398 HBD, 12.19% progress.

Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC, To Date 0.00067034, 6.12% progress

Explaining My Nice 2 Haves or N2Hs

When I last participated in Saturday Savers CLub with my main account, I set one of my primary goals as raising Hive Power or HP.

You will see that I have not included it as one of the two tracked goals. With the volatility of the Hive token price, trying to get a handle on how much HP could be raised in 2025 is not easy.

However, I have included a HP of 15000 as a Nice 2 Have goal.

Last time I tracked LP or Leo Power, but this time I won't be.

I have decided to include three Hive layer 2 tokens where I find the project leadership to be above reproach, polite and transparent. Something I found was not always the case with LeoFinance/Inleo.

The three additional layer 2 tokens and projects are

• The Liotes Project and LEN token
  They also had a 2025 challenge The Liotes Power Challenge 2025 - Let's get started so naturally I upped my game and trying to remember to participate in the weekly missions on Wednesday.

• DUO stands for Dividends, Upvotes and Onboarding. It's a token created by the Hive Onboarding Community. The goal of the HOC is to ultimately help onboard and encourage those who are new to Hive. DUO will help fund HOC onboarding efforts and will also provide dividends, a tipping bot, as well as curation for DUO stakers.

• Eddie Earner Income (EDSI) tokens are income-generating tokens on the HIVE blockchain that pay weekly dividends every Monday. These dividends come from 12% of the total HIVE POWER balance held by the @eddie-earner account, providing token holders with an impressive annual percentage yield (APY) of over 22%.

There you go, my four Nice 2 Haves for 2025.

I think I will generate a wee chart to include on my reports...

Week 4 progress

There are 52 weeks of course in a year, so I do have plenty of time to decide how my numbers and reports will look, However for the meantime I quite like this.
