Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 38 || Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros [Cover by Ten]

Hi there Vibes Fam!😌
It's been quite a while but I'm happy to be making my entry for week 38, albeit pretty late.

I couldn't enter for the past couple weeks because I got busy after obeying the clarion call.

I started my NYSC service year and those first three weeks at camp made me understand the duality of people always saying "it's a once in a lifetime experience" (Because: 1. You really don't want to do it again and 2. You kinda want to do it again because there are fun parts)
Okayyy..Enough about that.

I'd finally had some time to record this weekend but I didn't like any of my takes for my song of choice yesterday...I was going to do an Adele song (No..it's not the one you think it is😏).
Plus..let's just say yesterday turned out to be a lot for me and I just let it go.
I thought I'd give it another shot today and I ended up playing different instrumentals and singing along (relaxed karaoke style) till I came across this song I've loved for a long time now.
This was my second take..I loved the sound of it, and it's such a sweet-sounding song.🌹
I loved doing it because it reminded me of my teenage years when I had an airier voice and would practice trying to gain more depth.
I have more depth now, but sometimes, I feel like I lost the softness and traded the highs for lows (it's just something I notice myself).
But hey..I'm still practising and learning my voice better.😌🖐🏼

I added some background vocals after and had some struggle with capcut for a few hours, but here we are.😅
