Order go wrong
Some days before last year's Christmas, I was thinking about how to get money to buy my Christmas dress. After considering various family members who might offer financial help for Christmas, I realized that my uncle, Mr. Abel, could assist. I called him, jokingly asking if he could send me money so that I could purchase my Christmas dress.
Suddenly, he asked for my account details and promptly sent twenty thousand naira. I was thrilled and called to express my gratitude for the money he sent. Now it's time to consider the dress I would like to buys perhaps an outfit from Gucci, like an 'up and down' style. With the twenty thousand naira in hand, I began thinking about apps where I could order clothes and accessories for men.
I took my phone and quickly downloaded one of the popular apps called Jumia that deals with ordering men's and women's accessories. Upon signing up for the app, I was so happy to see various kinds of accessories, tech gadgets, and phones. My plan was to order a dress, either an 'up and down' style or a Gucci fashion garment, and wait for the day I would receive my order.
After I ordered the clothes and made the payment, instead of quitting the app immediately, I found myself checking out some accessories like wristwatches. Although there were good wristwatches on the app, I'm not really fond of wearing them.Unfortunately, I stumbled upon a nice pair of shoes on the app. The color looked great, and the shoe had a good description, making it very attractive. 'Oh, I like this shoe, can I buy it?' One part of my mind said no, as I had already purchased a pair of shoes at the market last week, considering buying this shoe might just be a waste of money.
After all, I didn't know if the shoe would fit me or not. However, another part of my mind strongly suggested buying it, claiming that I would be the only person in the community to have this shoe.
Later, I bought the shoe. However, after making the payment, I realized that the shoe's delivery date was approximately two weeks after Christmas, meaning I would only receive it after the holiday. I felt sad and regretful about this, blaming myself for ordering the shoe. I considered it a waste of money and questioned what sort of nonsense I had done.
I thought the app should have alerted me more prominently about the delivery date. But, upon checking the app again, I noticed that the order date was boldly stated on all the products. Therefore, I wasn't deceived; I simply hadn't checked thoroughly. Though I will still receive the shoe, its main purpose was to complement the ordered clothing."
While buying the shoe was great, the order date was inconveniently timed. Hence, I couldn't inform anyone that I ordered shoes after receiving my clothing order, fearing that my friends might spread the news in the community. I deeply regretted the order date. Consequently, after receiving the shoes, I had to store them until I attend a party.

One thing I know about online market places is that the information about their products are usually insufficient. For that reason, I try to go through them all to be able to make my decision. My experience has not bee all that blissful nonetheless, so I just never buy online anymore.
You are even lucky they didn’t bring what I ordered vs what I got, I don’t like shopping on jumia because I have experience bad things with them.
