MY PLANS FOR CHRISTMAS

First and foremost, I give thanks to Almighty God, who has kept me safe from every foe at every corner up to this point. Christmas is around the corner and already knocking on the door; it just remains for the people to open it. We all have less than three weeks to celebrate Christmas. For this Christmas festive season, I have many plans. So, I need to budget myself for it, whether in a low key celebration or a grand one with my family members and friends.

I need to hustle and buckle my shoe so that I can achieve my plans for the upcoming Christmas. I also want to take care of myself, relax, and enjoy the holiday season without overwhelming myself. These are my plans before Christmas.

I'm shopping for my Christmas outfit. We all know that clothes and men's accessories are expensive now, and there are many counterfeit items in the market. Therefore, I have to walk through the entire market, visiting all the shops, to find quality clothing in the right color that suits me.

Secondly, the church Christmas carol has been on my mind since our pastor announced it during last Sunday's service. Celebrating festive programs in my church is always enjoyable for everyone. We have a great time with invited guests, and there's a fun gift sharing among the church members. I need to buy my gift to share with others in the church and receive gifts in return.

Thirdly, my sister's upcoming event, her birthday, is in three weeks. She was born on December 31st and is planning a grand celebration. She's been reminding me about it constantly, and as her elder brother, I feel the need to give her a meaningful gift. After contemplating what to give her, I've decided on a frame. Nowadays, a frame is considered a thoughtful gift, and it's easy to identify the person who presented it.

Finally, I'm considering traveling to Ondo state to celebrate Christmas with my grandma and uncles. Whenever I visit there, I'm treated like royalty and never have to stress myself, getting food served once it's ready. Perhaps celebrating Christmas there would be a delightful and relaxing experience.

With all my plans ahead, I strongly believe that if I don't have at least thirty thousand naira with me, my family and I will have to celebrate in a more modest manner.

I just wanted to wish everyone in the community of ecency and Hive Nation a HAPPY UPCOMING CHRISTMAS. May we all celebrate together in prosperity in the year 2024.
