The Ultimate Dilemma #Loh235
You received an invitation to three special occasions, but they fall on thesame day and at different locations- a wedding of your cousin, a huge family reunion and your best friends wedding anniversary. Where would you go and why?
Such a tricky pick between these three events, but am assuming a cousins wedding from the other side of the family.
Firstly let's define these terms according to merriam webster dictionary
Wedding: A marriage ceremony usually with its accompanying festivities.(a ceremony in which two people are united in matrimony).
Family reunion: A group of persons of common ancestry coming together again which can be marked by festivities.
Wedding Anniversary: The annual recurrence of a date marking a notable event.
I would probably go to my cousins wedding because, Weddings are unique, one-time events that mark a significant milestone in a person's life. Unlike family reunions or wedding anniversaries, weddings are a singular occurrence that deserves special attention.
Weddings typically take place during the day and last around 2 hours for the actual ceremony. The reception that follows is where most of the time is spent, With this schedule, it's possible to attend the wedding and still make an appearance at the family reunion, depending on the timing and how far each locations is.
Family reunion can be celebrated at anytime of the year, even if the day of the celebration cannot be rescheduled, I can still catch up with it at a later year, hopefully such collision of events does not occur again.
Wedding anniversaries, on the other hand, are celebrated annually. I know they are important milestone worth celebrating but they can be acknowledged and celebrated in other ways, such as sending gifts or messages. In this case, me sending a thoughtful gift and message to my friend would be an appropriate way to show my support and let them know that I care.
Attending my cousin's wedding would be my top priority. Logically i think it would be the best pick for me, since others can be celebrated other years but wedding is a one time event in someone's life. Plus me telling my friend and family members I know they would want me to make thesame choice.
Do have a blessed week!

I'd go with you to the wedding. It's a once-in-a-lifetime event, unlike the other two, which can happen again the following year.
Thank you for your thoughts, !LADY💗

Thank goodness am not the only one making thesame choice.

I agree with you, the wedding is that union of love of a couple, as you say a once in a lifetime event, whereas other celebrations can be attended on different occasions, thank you for sharing your thoughts,

Good solid logic wins the day! Wedding it is and we can hope the marriage lasts through many reunions and anniversaries. ❤️
Amen to that sister.
