Family First, But... A Mother's Harrowing Decision #Loh261
You where offered a job by an
overseas firm in a country you've
  always wanted to visit. However,
  you cannot take your immediate
family( spouse and kids ) with you
until two years later. Would you
 grab the opportunity? Share your
 thoughts, please.
Let's be for real, if not for the sentimental values most of us hold I don't think anyone, well personally me would say no to this kind of job, that is located in my dream country, and I also believe would definitely pay more than what am being paid at my home country, well it's definitely a yes for me.

(Life after being fully fledged at a complete graduate in Nigeria)
First of all, I see it as a career Advancement for me, Secondly I will get to create a better future for my family, which i know at the long run, they will be so thankful i took that difficult yet promising step, thirdly it's not forever ( 2 years sounds far but i promise you in the blink of an eye it's over.
To grow up in a country where things are known not to move forward for so many youths today, the rich becomes richer and the poor... well i can't even say, such an opportunity is like setting a table filled with gold before me and asking me if i want.
Am telling you, this opportunity is not new, if you ask me it's even better because, it's a country I have always wanted to visit. A lot of youths nowadays travel overseas leaving their immediate family behind for years for a greener pasture.
Yes, as a woman, I know alot of factors will need to be considered compared to that of a man.. am telling you that's the kind of mentality that has been drained into many of us ladies from childhood, that men can easily move and do whatever to make their family live comfortable but it's another story for a lady.

(Looking forward to the future post graduation as ladies)
Well I know my future partner won't be a man that will set me back or not let me shine, he will definitely be of support, trying out to bring the best in me.We just have to hold on for 2 years with lots of calls and Facetime with him and the kids.
   Gratitude and gratefulness helps
   boost our overall well-being. Do
   you practice a "grateful living'
approach ?if you do what are you
   most thankful for today?
As a lady who appreciate every little thing in life, I tend to give thanks always on whatsoever I receive, whether it be big or small, life changing or lesson giving.

(With my younger sister's few years back)
Today am so thankful for myself and siblings for how we are being sustained, even in the mist of so many chaos and life heavy wind, that would have left us stranded or blown away without being recognized by any.

(With one of my big sis)
Am most thankful for how united we are in supporting each other to grow, not just in monetary form, but how impactful our presence has made a difference in each of our lives.

Great answers for both questions, and thank you for sharing 🙏 The picture of you with your sisters is very sweet. I wish I had a better relationship with my own 😩 Good luck!
Thank you so much!!

It's never too late to create that relationship you crave for with your siblings, yes it might be hard but nothing is impossible.
Wishing you the very best
Things are not easy and when a good opportunity comes, its only normal to want to take it. Two years may sound long but time passes fast when you are doing something that helps your life move forward. If it’s a chance to earn more and build a better future for yourself and your family, then it’s something worth going for.
Exactly my point, thank you for seeing thesame light with me.

Seeing that opportunity as a step forward in your career and creating a better future for your family is important, as is being grateful to yourself and your siblings for supporting each other in difficult situations. Have a lovely day,
