Being Able To Save For Rainy Days 2026

Trying to save has always been a habit of mine growing up, I don't know why but I have always feel the need to be prepared for rainy days , maybe because of the kind of family I was born into.
I have always had simple ways of saving money, ranging from daily savings which I did when I was still in primary, secondary schools.
Today, being an adult, I have always used our common commercial bank in my country as a means of savings, joining a program that automatically remove my money into the saving wallet every single months until the year of my contract with them elapses.
Because, I intend to be more intentionally about my savings this year 2026, my plan is to have more saving apps like cowrywise or piggyvest that will make me more committed and invested this year.
I choose these saving apps because I was told there are lot of saving plans, which are very easy to navigate. I will also use one of my commercial banks which I do not have access to withdraw from at all, except I visit the bank.
This year I also intend to buy Hive as a means of savings, since am getting to know more about the cryptocurrency investment platform.
In as much as I have all this in mind, am still finding it difficult to understand the system, hopefully I get more clarity about it before the end of this year.
Saving money always give me the chance to fall back to something, and also at the end of a certain year, look back and say, all my hard work was indeed paid off.
I have alot of regrets from my past on how I handled my saving, most times I opted out from it, if only I disciplined myself back then, I know I wouldn't be empty financial today.
So this year, my thoughts is to save to be able to start my retail Pharmacy premises, and to get new clothes elegant for me, because I have really tried in this few years of my life.
Also if possible, buy a piece of land and also stop living from hand to mouth, which has become a reality for so many of us today.
