Adeera's Angelic Voice: A journey of Discovery and Deviation LOH#224

Adeera's voice was a gift from heaven or so it seemed, her siblings would often praise her saying she had an angelic voice, one that could melt the coldest of hearts. Growing up Adeera would sing in the children's choir at church but it wasn't until she sang a special number one faithful Sunday that her talents were truly recognized fully at the adult church.

The choir mistress Mrs.Johnson was blown away by Adeera's performance,she approached Adeera's parents after the service and asked if Adeera could join the adult choir, Adeera was only 15 years old at the time but Mrs.Johnson saw something special in her. Adeera's parents were hesitant at first thinking they don't want to rush her in growing up. But eventually they agreed and Adeera began singing with the adult choir.

Adeera thrived in the choir, and her voice continued to blossom, she was the talk of the whole church, she loved singing with the adults, learning from them, and growing in her faith. The choir became her family, and she felt at home whenever she was singing with them, she was even nicknamed "baby Era".

But as Adeera entered her late teens, she began to explore other interests, she met a small studio owner David, who produced music for upcoming artists, Adeera was excited to meet him, and David was equally impressed by her talents. He offered to produce some songs for her and Adeera eagerly and with excitement accepted.

Adeera would often visit David's studio accompanied by her best friend Coco. They would spend hours recording songs, laughing, and having fun. David was charming and kind and Adeera found herself falling for him, she confided in Coco, telling her how David made her feel,Coco was supportive but she also warned Adeera to be careful, reminding her that David was older and more experienced.

As Adeera spent more time with David she began to drift away from the church choir, she would miss rehearsals, giving excuses about schoolwork or house chores, Mrs.Johnson noticed Adeera's absence being too frequent and confronted her about it, Adeera promised to be more consistent in rehearsals.

Adeera's parents and siblings eventually found out about David and the time she was spending with him. They were concerned feeling that Adeera was getting too involved with someone who was not good for her, they warned her about the dangers of the music industry, not just any industry but those that are more focused with the things of the world, plus the temptation that comes with it, but Adeera was stubborn, convinced that she knew what was best for her.

As the days turned into weeks, Adeera found herself deviating further and further from the church choir, she would attend services, but she wouldn't sing, she would sit among the congregations feeling guilty and conflicted, knowing that she was disappointing the people who had supported her for so long.

Adeera's journey had taken an unexpected turn, one that was leading her away from the church and towards a future that was uncertain and unpredictable, she was chasing her dreams but she was also leaving behind the people and the place that had nurtured her talents. As she stood conflicted, Adeera wondered if she was making a mistake, if she was sacrificing too much for the sake of her ambition.
Only time would tell.
