Weekend-Engagement Week #285: What I Envy the Most... :)
I've interacted with many Hivers from around the world, and it's always been fun and engaging. If I'm not able to visit long posts, I'm mainly on Snaps, commenting on posts and chatting with other Snappers.
Some of the people I've interacted with on Snaps live in wonderful places. I'm not referring to their houses, but the area near their place where they go for walks or take photos.
It has always been my dream to live near nature, especially in stunning green spaces. So, every time I see their posts, whether a Snap or a long-form one, I feel envious and think I'd love to live in such a place, too.
Because I live far from them and won't be able to visit their place, I asked for their permission to use their photos as references for my watercolor paintings... and they kindly agreed! <3

✨
I've used @oldmans, @friendlymoose, and @deeanndmathews' photos as references for the tiny watercolor paintings I made above.
They share photos of interesting natural places, and it always makes me want to dive into the screen and see the beauty of those places in person.
Apart from them, many more Hivers share photos of amazing natural places. In addition, they show the same place or area in different seasons... something I won't get to experience in my country, since it's a tropical one. Ahhh~ I also want to experience spring, autumn, and winter someday!

Earlier this month, my family and I lost our house to a flood, and we're temporarily staying in another place our landlord provided. It's a nice place, but it's by the expressway, so it's bustling and noisy. Our landlord plans to repair the damaged house, but my family and I have been discussing moving to another place, especially the countryside.
We don't have the means to transfer yet, especially now that we're back to zero after losing most of our things, but the thought of going back to the countryside and living there makes me excited.

I want to live a simple and quiet life with my parents and dogs in the countryside. It has always been a dream to live in a decent house surrounded by green spaces where we can have a "farm life"; planting vegetables and fruits, and perhaps taking care of some animals.
Of course, I'd love to have internet access for my job and Hive. My high school best friend (from the first high school I attended in the countryside) is helping us find possible houses to move into. It's kind of exciting to live in the same town again after so many years. :)
We still have to save for it, but hopefully, we'll be able to realize it next year. Perhaps then, I'd be able to share incredible photos of nature, just like the Hivers that I envy. ^^
For now, we'll focus on moving forward. Who knows, this setback will turn out to be a chance to achieve our dreams. haha Am I being too optimistic? Oh well. XD
I'll end this post for now. Thanks for reading, and may you all enjoy your weekend! (^^,)/

That effect of flood was really terrible.
