Visiting My DaMy with My Father... <3
My father and I went to DaMy's house yesterday to supposedly return the suit my father borrowed from him to wear for a wedding. When my father went there to borrow the suit, I couldn't go with him because I had caught a cold.
I wanted to go because I hadn't met DaMy in a long time. I believe the last time we saw each other in person was early 2020, when my parents and I visited their place to donate some clothes and other items because they had been affected by a huge fire.
I promised DaMy that I'd go with my father when he returns the suit, and so I kept the promise yesterday.

I had a class from 8:00 to 9:00 AM yesterday, so I did that first. Then, we headed out immediately after I finished. My mom stayed at home to take care of the furbabies.
Actually, DaMy invited us to go to his house either last night or today because it's their place's fiesta. However, I'm not comfortable with crowds, especially at events or parties. So, we went there in the morning instead. I also had to work last night for a couple of hours, so I had a legit alibi to miss the celebration. hahah
People there were already decorating the small chapel for the fiesta because a mass was scheduled for that night. This is a very tiny street with small houses standing really close to each other. It's fire-prone and could be a little dangerous, but the people there are all so kind and happy.
My parents used to live in this area, especially when my mom was pregnant with me. They had a lot of memories here, so I always enjoy listening to various stories from my parents and some people with whom they share those memories, including my DaMy.

Above are my photos with DaMy, which my father took, as well as a "groufie" (group selfie) of the three of us.
DaMy is my father's cousin, who also happens to be my super twin! hahah We really resemble each other, don't we?
I call him DaMy because he is my Daddy and Mommy. He's a proud LGBTQ+ member and is an excellent teacher! He may not look like it (since he looks very young), but he's actually retiring soon. He plans to retire next year and spend his retirement years either traveling or relaxing in his new home, somewhere in the countryside.
I want to visit him when he decides to move to the countryside! It would be awesome, as I also love the refreshing atmosphere there.
Apart from being a fantastic teacher for years, he has also diligently served the church as a Psalmist. He has such an angelic voice and I really admire him for that, too! I miss going to karaoke with him, so the moment he visits our house, we'll surely do that!

I actually baked some banana cake and choco-coffee cake last Friday to give to DaMy and Aunt Lucy (another cousin of my father who lives in the same area). My DaMy loved the cakes I baked, so I'm happy. Aunt Lucy was busy, though... but she appreciated my gift and we got to chat for a bit.
My father, DaMy, and I chatted for a long time. We caught up with our life's events and other things. It's always so fun talking with him. He has many interesting stories to share about our family, past memories, his work, and love life, among other things.

However, my father and I had to say goodbye because we still had some errands to do at the nearby mall, and I had to rest for a bit since I had to work at night. DaMy also had some stuff to do at school before he started preparing for the event.
It was a fun day with DaMy, and I hope we can spend more time and do more activities together in the coming days.
I'll share the rest of my activities with my father that day in another post. :) Thanks for reading this one, and see you around!

Thank you! :)
Yes you're welcome.
