My Parents Gifted Me Art Materials... <3

Ever since I was pretty young, my parents have always been supportive of the things I enjoy doing. As long as it's not harmful to me, then they'll do their best to provide.

I'm now a working adult, but they still give me stuff related to my hobbies. Well, I'm pretty indecisive when trying to buy something for myself, so they, especially my mom, would get it for me instead when they have some extra. hahaha

It's the same this time. I have been meaning to buy some art materials, especially acrylic paint. I mostly buy them online because the price difference is huge when I purchase them from the art shop at the mall.

However, I've been going back and forth on this decision because I'm thinking that I could use the money on other things. However, last month, my parents gave me some budget for it. I was hesitant at first, but they insisted... so here we are!

I ordered them last week, and they finally arrived! Let's unbox them! ^^

There's this project at home that I've been meaning to make, so these came in time. I'll try to work on it sometime this weekend if my schedule allows.

The seller really meant business when they wrapped this. It's truly secured. They bubble-wrapped the box!

Only the set of brushes was outside of the box, and the rest were neatly placed inside it.

Here's the photo of the whole haul. They're going to last me a long time, depending on my painting pace. The last time I bought a whole bunch of acrylic paint was sometime in 2022, and I'm now down to my final bottles... most of which are 70% empty. XD

Let me show you the items one by one. :)

I bought this brush set, but I'll be using the bigger ones since my next project is a wall painting.

Earlier this year, I bought detailer brushes since I've been painting on either 10 x 10 cm or 10 x 15 cm watercolor papers for my art wall recently. These bigger brushes would be pretty useful for me! :)

I didn't really mean to buy this, but if I did, I'd be entitled to a bigger discount. Well, I've been interested in these stampers for quite a while, mainly because I love painting the moon.

I usually use sponges that we often use for washing the dishes on my artwork. I mostly use them for leaves on trees, clouds, or bushes. XD I may or may not customize these stampers.

Here are the usual acrylic paints! I just got myself black and white, as well as the primary colors, since I just mix them to create other colors. I bought two of each. I still have around 50% of the black and white paint left from last time because I bought three bottles then (only two bottles for the primary colors).

Lastly, I got these two additional paints. They're Glitter Gold and Glitter Crystal... I'd want to use them as highlights. I believe they'd look pretty good! I'm yet to use this kind, so I'm excited about it!
