Making Another Sign for the Store... Coz We Need Moreeee~! XD

We finally transferred our store from the living room to the garage. It took quite a while because Papa was getting it ready little by little when he had time, and we had some budget for some materials. There's still a lot to fix and prepare, but we can gradually do them later.

When we opened our store (temporarily) in the living room, I made this sign.

We named our store after our two fur babies, then I just added an arrow sign stating to go in front of the house. We kept this sign in the same place, but I changed the direction of the arrow, since the garage is on the opposite side.

I actually recycled this piece of plywood and just painted on the other side. ^^ After making this arrow, I started with the additional sign.

We ran out of white paint for the base color, and I have a limited supply of acrylic paint, so I decided to keep the wood as it is and just work on what I have.

I needed some sort of background to make the letters pop, so I added some white paint first before writing them. I'm doing the same for the rest of the words, but with different designs. Let me share more of the progress shots below. :)

I also added some black to the first word, so it'll pop up even more. :)

Then, I just switched the colors of the base and the shadows for the next word. I didn't want to waste the paint I already mixed... and it wouldn't look too good if it's too colorful. ^^

As for the last word, I just used black and white... It looked too bare, so when I showed it to my parents, they suggested I add something around it. So, I decided to make a border... I asked them what color they wanted, they both agreed to use blue... so, blue it is! ^^

Yep... that's so much better, isn't it? It no longer looks bare, and it looks attractive! Let me share more photos of the finished project...

It's all done! It was already dark when I finished it, since I also started quite late this afternoon after work. We're going to put this up tomorrow, prolly after our morning walk/jog.
