I Thought This Was Lost Somewhere (Unboxing)

Several days before the typhoon happened, I ordered an art material that I can easily use anytime, anywhere. It's a set of solid watercolors I saw online, which was on sale. haha

However, it got delayed... then the typhoon happened, and there was no update about it until yesterday. Good thing, the courier was the usual delivery couple that sends our orders to our home, so they called my mom in advance. And we just had it delivered to the place we're staying now. :)

At that time yesterday, I was upstairs with Arashi while my mom was cooking downstairs. The courier asked her for directions... and what's funny is that she has no sense of direction, so she kept on asking me as well. Luckily, the landmark is quite well-known as it's a gasoline station by the expressway, and they eventually found our location.

This was what I ordered. It's a solid watercolor set, and I only paid less than 3 USD for it. It also came with a freebie! Let me show you what the set includes.

The 8-piece watercolor paper and the mixing palette were the freebies. Then the set includes 2 sponges, a pencil, a sharpener, 2 paintbrushes, and of course the solid watercolors.

It has 48 colors in total. I usually just use primary colors, black and white then mix them, so I don't know the names of the actual colors that I use. It's usually just various shades of yellow, various shades of blue, and so on. hahaha

The set also came with a palette card with the color names, so it was interesting to read and know them. I tried them out last night...

I did it on the bed, so it wasn't stable. hahaha Anyway, here it is!

It's actually good given its price. I just used too much water on some of them. I'll try creating something soon. :) It's been a while since I painted... and I'll be busy soon when I start working on Monday.

I'm feeling much better now, and it's no longer difficult to breathe... but to be on the safer side, I'll rest this weekend first. :)
