I Made a DIY Tablet Stand... <3
Last month, I purchased a tablet that I can use for digital drawing and blog-related tasks. Another reason for getting it is to make my phone rest since its battery easily drains. It still works really well, though, so I decided to get a tablet instead.
I've been using it for over a couple of weeks now, and it has been extremely helpful. I got a jelly case to protect it since I carry it everywhere at home. Well, jelly cases are also much cheaper than the other cases with a stand and/or keyboard.
When I'm not on my PC, I sometimes try to watch movies or anime on it, but with just the jelly case, I'd have to carry it when I do. So, I decided to make a stand for it.
I kept this box from the French Press I purchased a few months ago, and decided to use it.

🎨
I couldn't show the first part of the process since I didn't initially plan on sharing it here, but I changed my mind halfway.
First, I cut the top and bottom parts and decided to use the middle part. It is a cuboid, so I removed one side and connected the remaining sides to form a triangular shape.
I also pinched and folded one side so that it will have support at the back. Now, it looks more like a scalene right triangle.
Then, I connected the side I had cut earlier to the front and folded it as a stopper. I connected them using glue, double-sided tape, and finally masking tape.
The box was glossy, so it wouldn't be good to paint over it. So the masking tape would be helpful for easy painting.

🎨
I mixed in blue and white acrylic paint to produce this sky blue color. I let it dry for a bit before adding some design.

I love painting the sky, so I painted some fluffy clouds and added my name on the stand.
It looked so cute! Well, it would be covered by the tablet, but still, it's nice to have such details on it. :)
Now, let's test it out!

🎨
It works pretty well in landscape mode. My tablet is wide and a little heavy, but it's a good fit! Then, I tried testing it in portrait mode.

🎨
Yep! It works well even in this position, too! :) It would mostly be in a landscape position, but it's great to know that I could also position it this way. I could read some Webtoon this way. haha
When I'm working or on my PC, I usually just lay it on that space beside the keyboard. However, now, I can easily put the tablet on its new DIY stand. :)
I still prefer drawing while holding it since it's more comfortable that way, but I can now place it down when watching or even reading something.
That's it for my DIY tablet stand. Thank you for checking it out.
I'll end this post here. See you around for more DIYs in the coming days! (^^,)/

Very nice the way you took advantage of the material to recreate and paint these beautiful clouds that beautify any space.
