I Made a Border and Footer for My Future Blog Posts... <3

It's been a while since I added some stuff to my blog posts. Perhaps that was years ago when I used to place a footer after every post, but I tend to forget using them. That time, I also added my age, so when my birthday came, I had to edit it every time, and I found it very troublesome. hahaha

The laziness in me is so dominant, but not today. XD Last weekend, I finished my Ghibli-inspired Art Wall Border. (Feel free to click on the link to see my post about it.)

I'm very satisfied with it... and every time I look at it, I think to myself... why not use it as a border for my blog posts as well? The problem is, I'm not good at making digital art, even though I'm actually planning to practice on my phone someday.

So what I did was this:

It looks good with a white background, but the color won't look as bright when you use night mode on your screen.

It looks really cute as a blog border as well, doesn't it? How I made it was pretty simple. :)

The first thing I did was take a wide view shot of my wall. Initially, I tried taking a panorama shot of this wall border, but my hand was too shaky earlier. So, I resorted to plan B.

Next thing I did was download the photo in its original size, and edited it using Photoscape X. I just enhanced the color scheme and cropped it. There's a feature to make part of this transparent, but it'll take more time. So, I used Canva to get rid of the background. I only have one attempt per day because I'm using the free version. And it came out like this...



I thought I did it, but when I switched to night mode, the background was white and not transparent. So, the next thing I did was use this cleaner version from Canva and remove the background again using the Photoroom website.

It may seem darker when you use the night mode, but it works pretty well in the day mode. I pretty much use the day mode or white background anyway, so it's all good. :D

It's so cute!!! It looks like it's digitally done. hahaha But really, I'll try to practice digital drawing again someday. It'll require more time, though, but we'll see. :)

And another thing I made is a footer. :D

It's so pink and refreshing. I just included a little info about what I mostly write here as well as a short message to everyone who read and supported my blog.

This was my old footer. It was all over the place. I was 30 years old then, and now I'm 34. haha Time flies indeed! XD Anyway, today's post is so random, but I hope you enjoyed it. Have a great one! (^^,)/
