Gradually Filling in My Art Wall <3

Earlier this month, my mom @arashi0416 made a post about her tiny painting collection. These were the small paintings she requested me to make. And as you can see in her post, it looked wonderful, so I wanted to do the same thing.

The problem is, I have a huge empty wall in my room, so it'll take a long time to fill it in. Well, I'm used to being patient, so I decided to just go with it and gradually update it.

One Saturday morning, when I only had to work for an hour, I started painting a bamboo on the wall. It was so random, but I wanted to create a border for my art wall. I didn't know what design to put, but I wanted it to be simple and easy to make, so I painted this.

The following Saturday, I wrote this "ART" next to the bamboo. It was a struggle because I tried to stretch my arm as much as I could to paint it from the first step of the stairs, going up my loft bed. I didn't want to stand on a chair while looking up and painting, and I didn't feel like carrying a heavy ladder into my room. I was just being lazy, tbh.

That's the reason why I just did a lettering cut-out for the word "WALL". I had to stand on a chair, but it didn't take a long time to do so. haha

So yeah, that's the wall that I'm going to fill with small paintings. Actually, I already started placing some. Let's check them out!

First, I put up these two. That cute character was my entry for a drawing challenge in the "Draw A Day" community, while the other one is a view of spring that I long to see someday.

Then, earlier this week, I added this painting of a single tree. I painted this one as an illustration for my poem called SOLITUDE, which I submitted as an art entry for a Free Compliments Weekly Contest.

And just before creating this post, I placed my latest painting. It's my FIRE WOLF fanart that I made for the Holozing Community. It was so fun, and I plan on making more fan art in the coming days.

As for this wall, I don't know when I'll be able to fill it, but I'll gradually work on it. I'll be posting some updates on it from time to time as well. I will only place small paintings like this on the upper half of the wall. I can't risk them getting torn by Max when he stays in my room every afternoon. Instead, I'll paint something directly on the lower part of the wall.

I don't know what design I'll draw, but it's going to be either some natural landscape or some anime character... or maybe a combination of both? We'll see. But to do that, I'll need more time. Ugh! Why is there only 24 hours in one day? Haha
