Cleaning and Re-organizing My Art Materials
Yesterday, my father went to our house to get some items we can still use and do some cleaning. Mama listed some of the things we need, so I also asked Papa for a favor. I asked him to bring my other art materials, particularly those in my mini organizers. I know they're going to be muddy, but I'm ready to clean them. hahaha And, he did!

I was only expecting the organizers and the stuff from the table, but he also bought the ones I was currently using for my DIY project that was destroyed by the flood (unfortunately). I'm so happy because my favorite brushes, along with more acrylic paints, were there.
Look at what happened to my organizer and art materials, even though they were on top of my desk under the loft bed.

Because of this, I'd have to dispose of some of the items and thoroughly clean the others, including the organizers. Luckily, I kept my screwdriver in one of the drawers. :)

While I was disassembling the organizer, I saw this hidden. It's Hinata! hahaha

I initially tried cleaning it without disassembling, but it wasn't easy to clean that way. But this way, I could clean every part well... and it's good as new! haha

I assembled it once all the parts were dry... and look at that lovely baby! I'm so happy to see it clean again! ^^

This is the other organizer, which was full of art materials like markers, gel pens, etc.
The flood didn't reach the materials on the upper part, so I just wiped them with wet wipes and cleaned the rest. I couldn't get rid of every brown spot, especially the covers, but at least they're much cleaner now.

I arranged the pens and markers here before taking them inside. Then, I disassembled and cleaned the other organizer for my acrylic paints and paintbrushes.
It's done! Unfortunately, a part of it is chipped, but it's ok. It's just small, so it is still usable. However, some of my materials gave up.
The colored pencils are actually watercolor pencils, and because they were exposed to floodwater, they burst open and melted. Some of them didn't burst, so I kept them... but this batch, I can no longer save.
The same happened with this palette. This is my fave, especially when I use acrylic paint because it's so easy to mix here, but it became too soft. T_T I'll get this kind of palette again someday.
I also had to throw away some pens, pencils, sharpeners, and so on. But more were saved than those I had to throw away... and it made me happy! The problem now is my sketchbooks, watercolor pads, and canvas pads. They were for sure soaked, so I'll see what I can still use when Papa brings them over.
For now, I stored them under the stairs along with my old PC. I'll be able to paint upstairs in the room we're staying in, so I'll take what I need when I do.
I'm glad to have these babies back with me. I'll be making more artwork again in the coming days.
I'll end this post here for now. Thanks for reading, and see you around! (^^,)/

I'm so inspired seeing your art materials being organized already.
You'll be inspired also to do more artworks if it's arranged in this way
