Drawing A Face With Piercings
Before I created my drawing for Day 8’s inktober prompt, I had to test if the new sets of pen would be best for the drawing. Using the right pen for my drawings is a big favtor to consider when making certain drawings for example when drawing characters with furs, shading or making skin tones and textures. Some pen release too much ink at a go and I didn’t want that which was why I tested the first pen I was considering to use. I had borrowed the pen for my previous drawings to one of my students and they successfully lost and not return it when clearly told not to. Lol
So, this drawing shows a woman who has piercings on ger face, lips and nose. It was what I initially wanted to draw for my ‘Piercing’ entry but wasnt related to zing like that so i did something else. I liked the outcome of this art but I observe the pen used for this drawing was releasing ink heavily and so I made up my mind not to use it for my future artworks for this reason. I had another pen that worked perfectly after trial and it was used to create the Reckless prompt.
Below are the steps involved in make the drawing. Happy Viewing!!!
