Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!

Weekends are something that has to be enjoyed ey and they have to be enjoyed to the fullest! After all you will have to wait a whole week to get another weekend ey!

Well at-least me and the Betty had one tightly packed weekend that wasn't necessarily filled with adventures but we had a lot of fun and that can count as adventures right? I'm sure it must!

The thing I appreciate the most about weekends is being able to spend time with the wonderful and amazing @misshugo! Yeah yeah I'm simping for her, laughs!

Anyways, most of you might find our adventures a little cringe but whatever that's your problem. 🙃 😂

The Betty needed some things for her trip out of country to Budapest, oh and guess what I ain't going with her and you want to know something even more shocking! The fact that she'll be out of country on my birthday 😔 How am I going to deal with it I don't yet know! Laughs I'm going to be sitting all alone in my room, I wont even be able to get a hug!

Nothing! Absolutely nothing! But hey life is life right and when things fall in the way and when it is what it is, it is what it is!

You might ask me why are we looking at kettles for the Betty to go out of country, well the answer is simple we're not. She needed a travel pillow and a European plug, which by the way is not that easy to find! We went into a couple of shops but all we found was Europe to South Africa. But eventually we found what we were looking for so that is settled!

After the hectic running around looking for the things she needs we decided to hop into Yuppi-Chef. It's a shop with the fanciest household equipment like pots and pans and coffee machines and barbeques and all that fancy crap. I say fancy crap but it's fancy crap that I wont mind to own one day! Laughs.

The Night Was For The Sleepless!

Laughs in case you were wondering me and The Betty are not those who take the night on sleepless laughs! We had a braai to go to (Otherwise known as a barbeque) One of the Betty's friends said we should come over and have a drink while grilling some meat.

As we pulled up to the house the Betty spotted a dandelion and she wanted me to stop so that she could grab it! Laughs I can't even remember what she did with it at the time but it made her quite happy. Happier than I thought it would! Laughs!

As They Say Enjoy The Little Things In Life!

Before we kicked the braai off with a bang we decided to take a breather and sit a little watching the sun set.

Watching the sun set is something that nobody nowadays does and to be honest it's quite sad. If I had a choice I'd sit and watch the sun setting every damned day of my life! I promise you that! But no, people would much rather watch it setting on a television screen, am I right?

Me and the Betty are both actually very weird even if I have to say so myself. 🤣

Neither of us really cares for going out, we just want to be in our little space and that is that but it is needed to get out there and socialize it really is! Now the thing about us is that when we know we have to go out for the night to a braai or something it's always that waiting around the whole day type of feeling and then as the time to leave creeps up closer we almost want to phone the people to quit out on the plans.

Fortunately we never quit on these things and at the end of the day we actually enjoyed it a lot!

I Was That Guy!

Laughs, well since it's only a friends gathering and in total we were four people so what did I do?

I traded some stuff.

Well I didn't really but I did have some open positions and I thought it might be better to have the laptop opened up in the corner on the counter rather than sitting with my phone in hand the whole time. That way I can just give a glance and see how the markets are going.

Although the Betty's friend Tobia found it pretty weird but hey I don't care I'm making a few bucks while enjoying myself with some liquor!

The Next Day Was A Shot.

Now since both me and the Betty's drinking days are far behind us it doesn't take a lot of alcohol to get us going! And even less to give us a nice banging head throbbing the next day!

Needless to say the Betty had this all covered for the next day!

Neither of us wanted to do much so we decided to get some snacks at the shop and do a chill/netflix session for the day. We bought some strawberries as well but I forgot to add that in the photo. Thinking about it now it would have actually made the photo so much better.
