The Witcher 3 Saga: Philippa Eilhart's Hideout.
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of The Witcher 3 Saga Geralt gave a helping hand to Vernon Roche in dealing with The Black Ones. Or more so to save one of his own from the Black Ones. One of his lieutenants has gone above him trying to organize a rescue party to save some villagers of a town long forgotten about on the horizon. This in it self is somewhat of a noble act because these peasants gave information to the rebellion force. Now that The Black Ones have found out about this betrayal they have come for all inside the little town of Mulbrydale.
Fortunately by the time myself and Vernon Roche arrived to aid in this attack it has just begun, a fortunate event since The Black Ones are highly armed and have even higher training standards they are ferocious killing beasts! But we did manage to defy the odds and beat them in combat.
Philippa Eilhart's Hideout.
So this is the place that has had Radovid on his toes searching for for months on end now. I'm stunned the man has indeed finally found it, or so he might think. Let's see?
One thing that I am more than certain about is that the Witch Hunters waiting for me here would have no liking in me, I come swinging by taking all the glory while they did all the work. Oh of-course yes.
It's not my fault they can't get in right?
That was until yesterday they say.
It would seem that these Witch Hunters aren't so completely useless as they deem to come forward with. The funny thing is they looked so damned proud of themselves for finding some sort of "magic stone that holds power" to open the portals in Philippa's hideout.
They were less happy of handing it over to me which is completely understandable given the circumstances that they were more than a dozen men ending up with failure and now here stands a single man destined for nothing but success!
I'd be pretty damned upset myself!
Necker Infested Elven Ruins.
I've barely set foot into the Elven Ruins that Philippa Eilhart made her home when I got jumped by three Neckers that are more desperate to feast than a stray dog. These things are very easy to kill though if you keep pounding on them but the moment you let up they can do some real damage when swinging their claws together, before you know it your health would be chopped up good.
They are pesky and annoying little creatures and I can't begin to see how Philippa had the patience to deal with these pesks.
No wonder the Witch Hunters made remarks about nobody coming down to haul my corpse out of there.
The Bravest Of The Witch Hunters!
He certainly was the bravest of them all! He didn't run away at the first whimps of danger! No no, instead he stood his ground and fought these Neckers! Don't ask me how he managed to kill them on his own but somehow he managed!
If only he was as smart as he was brave things would have ended for him without a beating. We had a light argument about me taking the crystal that he broke out of the teleportal. I had to go further and therefore I needed the crystal. The crystal that he wasn't ready to give up yet.
The poor brave soldier!
After the Witch Hunter I found only Neckers waiting for me in the Elven Ruins which was somewhat pleasing to know how easily I would be able to cut through them all.
At one point I even found a Necker's nest located in a ditch of sorts and I just simply burned them out while arrowing them down with the crossbow. They had an agonizing death if I have to say so myself, I really killed them in the most vile ways possible. A slow and more than agonizing death.
A Day For Wielding Fire!
I should have known, I should have known that Philippa would have been smarter than this! A fire golem of-course! I should have never expected her not to have some proper form of defence!
Now this is what I've been waiting for! It has been quite sometime since I've battle a fire golem! I've battle a stone golem the other day but fire! This might be something interesting!
It was much easier to kill the fire golem than it was to kill the stone golem. Must be that the heat element of it actually makes it somewhat softer, like metal that is heated up becomes soft, much the same with stone.
Fair to say I chopped through it with little to no effort, certainly no challenge for a Witcher what so ever!
She's A Step Ahead, Always Has Been.
Philippa wasn't in the Elven Lair although all evidence points to her being here at one point or another and it might as well have been her hideout for a very long time.
With that said I don't think myself and the Witch Hunters are the first to have come looking for her, no. But whoever did come looking for her did manage to find their way into her hideout since they managed to make a big mess of everything.
It must be that they were looking for something, but what?
On my way out of the Elven Ruins the Witch Hunters seemed oddly surprised at my survival through the whole ordeal. I think they more more stunned at the fact of how fast I managed to move through the entire Elven Ruin cave system.
It doesn't matter at all now.
They started questioning me on what I found and frankly it had nothing to do with them at all, Radovid sent me and I don't have to deal with any of these baffoons! Neither am I a servant of Radovid they have once again underestimate me.
